Max hears a loud thud and dashes out to see Ross lying unconscious on the floor, by the front door. He goes over and feels Ross' forehead and sighs of relief to know that he wasn't burning up. KP comes over and rubs herself up against Ross' body, trying to wake him. Max puts some cat food in a bowl and sets it on the ground, making KP go over and start to eat. The ginger observes the unconscious Ross and picks him up carefully.

"Hope you'll be okay Ross," Max says and carries him to Max's room, laying him on the bed. He was about to go grab something to help Ross, but was stopped by someone grabbing his arm. Being confused, Max looks back to see Ross latching onto his arm.

Max sat on the carpeted floor and listened to Ross. "No... don't go... please," Ross spoke very softly.

"I have to get something for you," Max whispered back.

"T...Tim he," Ross says but falls back asleep.

Max carefully takes Ross' hand off his arm and stands up. He quietly made his way to the living room. Being angry Max hits the couch, causing a blanket to fall off.

"Whatever you did Tim, I'll kill you," Max mutters.

Later on in the day Max and Ross head to the store to pick up more food for the house. They were in the meat isle looking at the options, with Ross very close to Max. Tim happens to walk down the isle and see the two. He smiles evilly as he continues to look to the two.

"Soon baby, soon," Tim says to himself quietly and heads to some meat.

"Max?" Ross asks, standing still as a rock.

"Yes?" Max responds.

"I feel... off," Ross responds.

Max looks around the isle and sees Tim. His eyes show furry when he sees Tim's back and brushes off the feeling. Max then faces where he can see Ross and softly smiles.

"Dont worry about it Ross," Max says.

Ross, who picked up some meat looks at the deep chocolate looking eyes and smiles. "It's okay Max, dont worry too much," Ross responds.

Max looks into the maple syrup eyes of his friend and takes a deep breath. Something about Ross made Max feel calmer, he likes it. Ross puts the meat in the grocery basket, facing his best friend of over 9 years. "So, what's next?" Ross asks.

Max looks down at the grocery list in his hands. "Vegtables, as many as you can get," Max reads off. He rolls his eyes at the paper and tucks it into his pocket.

"Produce section, here we come," Ross says as he takes Max's hand and drags him to the produce section. Max regains his control and stands up once they're at the produce section.

Ross picks up some potatoes and looks over at Max. The blinder of the two looks at him and smirks.

"What now? That should be fine," Max says.

"Can we please do it when we get home?" Ross asks with hope.

Max immediately knew what Ross was talking about from old memories. "Ross no," Max says simply.

"Please," Ross whines.

Max didn't want to get embarrassed in public and glared at the squirrel-like creature. "Fine, but you owe me Mac and Cheese," Max responds.

When Max turned around to grab other vegetables Ross looked at his back in confusion. Why did he have to make Max his Macaroni?

When they got home from the store, Ross went into the room and jumped onto the bed. Max dashed in afterwards quickly to make sure his bed still looked neat, now messy due to the old narwhal jumping on it.

"I got the potato, get a string," Ross said smiling.

Max left and grabbed the bags, taking them to the kitchen and setting it down on the island. He opened a drawer and grabbed a thread of string taking it to the room. Ross takes it and ties the string around the potato.

"Now get up and tie it to the ceiling fan," Ross commands with happiness. Max grabs his stool to get a better reach, tying the string to the fan. He gets down, sets the stool aside and puts the fan on the lightest mode he could.

Ross took out his phone and started recording.

"A potato flew around my room," Ross says happily. Seeing Ross happy made Max smile, a small one forming on his face. Ross stopped the recording and went to Twitter and Instagram posting the video.

He turned off his phone and put his attention to Max, who was standing in the door frame with his eyes closed. Ross goes up to him to see if he was asleep or not. Putting his ear closer to Max's mouth he hears light snores coming from the guy who owns the home of the two.

"Max, wake up," Ross whines.

The red head continues to snore making Ross puff out his chest, with a little bit of anger in him. Ross gently grabs Max and puts him on the bed. As he watches Max's chest move Ross thinks about what happened with Krista. The shorter one gets onto the bed and gets close to Max's face.

"Why do you have to be tired now," Ross comments to himself.

He messes with the stubble on Max's chin, causing Max to cuddle up close to Ross, making the used-to-be narwhal blush profusely. Ross didn't feel too bothered and continued to mess with the ginger colored stubble as Max gets comfortable, wraps his arms around Ross. Max fell into a deeper sleep because of Ross' actions.

"I don't want to wake you, but I want KP," Ross says softly. He looks around the room to realize that the light is still on and that the sun is peaking through the blinds. Someone open's the front door and closes the door approaching the bedroom.

"Ryder? Is that you?" Ross asks out.

"Yeah, you need something?" Ryder calls back as he sets down some bags from his workplace.

"Could you get KP in here, close the blinds fully and turn off the light?" Ross asks.

Ryder gets KP into the room, and KP jumps onto the bed curling up then going to sleep. Then the odd one out closes the blinds fully and goes over to the light switch and turns it off.

"You know... you guys actually look cute together," Ryder remarks then closes the door.

"Whatever Ryder," Ross comments while blushing. Then slowly Ross falls asleep in his friends arms.
