taeyong walked home, he didn't feel the need to get a ride home because he didn't want to distress yuta with his problems or anyone at that fact
he walked in his room and saw the blade, he promised himself he'd never do it again, promised doyoung but it felt right, he didn't think anyone cared enough if he did it again
taeyong cuts through his old cuts, taeyong cried he didn't want to feel this lonely, he didn't want to feel like he was overreacting, he just wanted to feel happy and it seemed like the world was so against that
yuta busts through his door "yong?" yuta says seeing taeyong cut into himself and he snatched the blade away from him "taeyong- listen to me, mark was being a douche he doesn't care about anyone but himself please-please don't listen to his words, we love you and we want you here with us okay?" he says putting the blade far away as he hugs him feeling taeyong sob loudly in his shoulder
a couple hours later..
yuta was talking to taeyong's mom "yeah he's not feeling to good" yuta says trying not to remember how broken he looked earlier, "i think... i should let him stay with his cousins for awhile" she says playing with her ring "it's just too much for him down here" his mom says with teary eyes as yuta nods "yeah and i'll do visits to see him, so he shouldn't feel lonely" he says suddenly feeling sad that he'll have no one here with him but jungwoo
"i think that's the plan, he should be leaving three days from now" she says as if she made up this plan as they were talking "okay well i'll stay here with him until then, is that okay?" yuta asks hoping she doesn't suddenly block him from the world "of course, as long as it's okay with your parents" she says getting up as she hears the baby cry
yuta walks back into taeyong's room "i hope you'll do okay without me" yuta says brushing the hair out of his face
yuta hated that mark was being so shitty to taeyong earlier, taeyong would never say anything like that to him, he hated seeing taeyong broken and cutting himself, he didn't know that this year would be so hard on him, if he did he would've told taeyong in advance, because no one deserves this much hurt especially not someone he cared about
three days later..
taeyong was leaving out of town to his cousins and staying for at least 1-2 years, he honestly wasn't against the idea he didn't want anything to do with johnny or mark, and he didn't know if doyoung was going to come back to him so he just decided to leave
"i'm going to miss you yong" yuta says smiling sadly while giving him a hug "we're gonna call everyday, it's not like you won't be seeing me" taeyong says as walks to the car with yuta "yeah but long distance friendships are just as good as relationships, they don't work out" he pouts and taeyong laughs softly "i won't forget you yuta, plus i'm doing online school so no new friends to worry about" taeyong says as his mom honks the horn "we have to go taeyong!" taeyong sighs "thank you for helping me" he says hugging him once again before getting in the car
"you're welcome" yuta says as he waves at taeyong until the car is out of sight
