ZAYYAN HUSSAIN MALIK'S POV:

I walked through the basement of my house, as the sunlight welcomed me,
I glanced at my wrist watch,
Straightening my suit.

Marching towards my car,
I noticed Asher, my driver standing there.
His eyes flickered at me,
As he greeted me with a smile.
I nodded at him, and got seated in the passenger seat.

Asher got seated in the driver seat,
As he step on the gas, getting the car to roar with alive.
I kept myself engrossed in a an file, which needed my attention as I have a important meeting today.

My phone buzzed and I glanced at the screen in confusion,
Receiving it I spoke,
"Tyler? What's wrong?" I questioned,
"Sir ma'am is missing" said Tyler.

My throat went dry, as I clenched my fist,"she is fine, nothing went wrong" I Muttered to myself,
"Tyler, why did I appoint you? To keep an eye on her, I want her safe and sound infront of me, no matter what, did you get it?" I snapped at him.

"Sir we are tracking her phone, and
I saw her going inside the college gate,
But after half an hour I saw her running out" he stated, what?
"Where did she go tyler?" I questioned frightened at the thought what might have happened.

"Sir I am sorry, I did go behind her,
But because of the traffic here, I missed her" he said.
And i disconnected the call and told Asher to turn the car other way.

Meri jaan, where are you?
I just want to hear your voice,
And make sure you're safe.

Sliding out of the car, I went towards the college,
Entering the office, i found Khalid Uncle sitting there,
He smiled at me and mumbled a salaam.

"Uncle I need your help, please I need to check the CCTV camera ASAP" I said immediately, hoping he doesn't question me,
I don't have that much time to answer his question,
And hopefully he didn't,
"calm down son, sit here I'll bring it to you" saying he went out,
I paced back and forth,
Shaking my head at the disconcerting feeling,
my jaw clenched, I racked my hair, to compose myself.

He came in, as I checked the camera as I saw her running out,
Moving it forward, I could make out she went in left direction,
Getting up from my seat,
I ran out.

"Asher let's go" I said sitting in the passenger seat,
Guiding him in that direction,
We reached park near by .
I ran out.

I scanned my eyes around to find someone, but couldn't find a single soul here,
My heart was beating against my chest, rapidly.
As i stepped in,
I saw a form sitting on the bench,
Her back facing me.

I let my breath out, taking slow steps to her,
I heard a sniffling sound, and my heart tightened,
Keeping my hand on her shoulder to gain her attention,
She abruptly stood up.

In a sudden move,
She slapped across my face,
"Don't you dare touch me abdul- " she stopped mid sentence, her eyes widened,
I stood rooted in my place, not knowing how to react.

"Ah..you?.. I mean.. I thought..Abdu-" she faltered,
her cheeks glistened with tears,
I shut my eyes tightly,
To be honest, the one thing I can't see, is her tears,
I reached gently towards her, and I questioned,
"Why are you crying my love?"
More Tears started to fall out from her eyes, as she hugged me tightly,
Her hands Clenching on my suit,
Sobs echoed from her lips,
As she tightened her grip around me.

I could feel her heart beating rapidly,
As she held me tightly in her arms,
I stared at her dismayed,
And i wrapped my hands around her back,
Kissing the top of her head.
"I am right here, my love,
Tell me what happened?"
I whispered softly as she tightened her grip on my back.
