✨few days later

Madiya Ahmed Khan pov:

"Bhabhi yaar change the channel please" qasif groaned hitting Aameen's head, who was counting how many goals Ronaldo had made.
They both are such idiots I say, but I love both of them.

Aunty and uncle had gone out to meet someone, and zayyan is in the study room since morning, as for me, dani, Aameen and qasif we're sitting on the couch watching ogi and the cockroaches.
Daniya was eating popcorn and qasif was continuosly wining like a child to change the channel.

Ishan was out attending a phone call,
There is something that's bothering Zayyan, he isn't opening upto to me, but I know it's something related to Mr M.

I came out of my trance when I heard Aameen's ear piercing sound,

" YAAR RONALDO JUST ONE MORE GOAL!! THEN I WOULD HAVE LITERALLY HUGGED YOU"
he yelled waving his phone in the air.

Qasif's jaw dropped to the ground and Dani just gave Aameen a glare, getting irritated at his blabbering I threw the remote on his face.

He winced throwing the phone in the air, as the remote hit his head " yaar bhabhi why are you so wild? " he questioned feigning hurt,
" because you deserve it" I said casually giving him a nonchalant shrug,

" YES FINALLY,THE COCKROACHES WILL BE CAUGHT "
I yelled Hifing Dani,
" Oh no diya the cockroaches escaped again" said Dani sadly and I shook my head at it, anger took the best of me when I noticed cockroaches planning something against ogyy, I took the popcorn and threw it at the tv.

" What the hell bhabhi?" Questioned Aameen shocked and I rolled my eyes getting up from my seat, I snatched the remote from Aameen and hurled at the tv. Making it
Directly hit on Qasif's head who was sitting Infront of the tv. He winced then his mouth hung low at my stunt.

Taking a handful of popcorn in my hand I threw it at his Mouth
His Mouth snapped shut,
" bh-a" he started to choke and Aameen burst into laughter, my eyes flickered at daniya who was yawning, I smiled at her.

Heading towards her room,
I laid dani down on the bed and kissed her forehead, her room was painted with white with a beautiful bookshelf at the corner, I put the quilt on her and stroked her hair gently.

I jogged towards the study room where Zayyan was there.
I opened the door slightly, glancing at him,
His head was leaned on the chair, and his hand was on his temple,
I looked at him in dismay.

Taking slow steps, so that I don't disturb him, I stood behind the chair,
I kissed his forehead, my lips lingering there for more than a second, he opened his eyes slightly, as a Small smile touched the corner of his lips.

" Take some rest" I whispered softly,
I gently stroked his hair, he closed his eyes, " did dani sleep?" He questioned,
Kissing my left hand, and I nodded whispering "yes, dad and mom still didn't return, I guess they are staying in there" I said and he nodded his head understanding.

" Jaan go to your ro-" A call interrupted him, he nodded his head at me, and I stood up, making my way towards our room, with the only thought in my mind, what's the matter?

I laid down, I couldn't sleep, I glanced at the clock which striked twelve o' clock, I sighed.
Qasif and Ishan already went to sleep.

I took Zayyan's pillow and hugged it,
I miss his warmth, my mind and my heart wasn't in its proper State,
Getting irritated I stood up, jogging towards the study room.

He was on the call, sitting on the couch near by the table
his glanced up at me, and he raised his brow, i shook my head telling him I cannot sleep,
He smiled understanding and stretched his hand at me.

I sat in his lap, massaging his temple, he hung on the call,
So I ran my hand through his hair, And started stroking it,
I love doing this to his silky hair.

He took hold of my wrist and started placing kisses there, and I wrapped my arms around his neck , pulling him closer to me.

" So what's bothering you?" I questioned softly and his body automatically tensed, he gripped the arm off the chair, and drew in a long breath ,
, " nothing jaan, let's go to the room" he said holding laptop in his one hand and holding my wrist with his other hand ,
I thought to give him some time, and nodded my head.

Opening the door of my room, he made me lay down on the bed, he leaned on to my face, and my heart pounded against my chest, as his lips touched my forehead.

Before he could turn around and go I held his wrist, " you aren't sleeping?" I questioned and he smiled softly, " just need to finish off something, I'll be right there" he said pointing at the couch.

I tossed and turned but couldn't sleep,
My eyes flickered at Zayyan who was busy typing in his laptop,
I groaned getting up.

There was complete silence, except the sound of his keybord, I was hella bored sitting, so I started to gain his attention, he kept quiet for seconds,
Then he said " will you stop doing that my love?" He questioned, still typing.

I was continuously glaring at the laptop which has his full attention,
" No. I won't stop poking you until you give me your attention" I said turning my gaze at him.
He shook his head, "you have my full attention" he said signing some papers.

" Come Zayyan let's sleep, i can't sleep without you" I said holding his hand and he gave me his warm smile,
" My love you can sit on my lap, until I am done with this work" he said grazing his beard.

I let out a defeated sigh, but it's better to sit on his lap than sleep there alone,
I sat on his lap, and started playing with his buttons, opening and closing it, something that's interesting to do now.

" So you can't sleep without me" he says stroking my hair, and i nodded,
" But you won't care" I Muttered, putting my head in his chest.
And I don't know when sleep engulfed
Me.
