Olivia's POV:

I couldn't sleep at all knowing I kissed Malfoy. I'm still not sure why I did so.

He probably thinks I'm an idiot.

I knew he did.

"Ugh" I groaned throwing my pillow over my face

Breakfast: 7:30 am

"Good morning everyone!" I yawned

"Good morning! We didn't want to wake you Olivia, we figured you might've had a long night..." Harry scoffed

"We thought of how miserable last night in detention with malfoy must have been, so we let you sleep in" Hermione interrupted.

"Yeah...how'd that go Jade? Still losing the bet?" Ron laughed.

With all that attitude I was hoping he'd choke on the bacon he was scarfing down.

I was definitely not telling them about the kiss, that's for sure. I would never live it down if did.

"Uh...it was okay" I stuttered, looking down at my plate.

"Just okay?" Harry chuckled

"Yes Harry if you must know...we did our work and left...no words....no eye contact....nothing"

I hated to lie to them but they can't know.

Some things are better left unsaid.

"Um. Okay.....sorry we asked" Hermione laughed

"Sorry guys....I just couldn't sleep much last night.." the table went silent.

"So are you guys ready for the party tonight?" I questioned, changing the subject

"Yes! I think Harry's gonna ask Ginny to come with us" She nudged him and winked

"Well we're asking Fred and George too, Hermione... don't get any ideas Harry" Ron snapped

"Brilliant Ron! I was thinking Hermione was ludicrous to leave out Fred and George" he chuckled nervously

I began to scan across the great hall.

There he was, surrounded by friends. Yet looked alone. He looked like he zoned out. Pansy was talking to him but he wasn't listening.

I continued to look around

I  made eye contact with Cedric

He lifted his hand up and waved me over

"Good morning, sunshine" he greeted me

"Good morning to you"

"How's school been going for you?" He placed his hands in his pockets

"Better than expected, that's for sure" I laughed

"That's great to hear" he chuckled

"I heard about the party tonight, are you going?"

"I wouldn't miss it " I replied

"Ahh well maybe you could save me a dance or two?"

"Hm...I'll check my schedule...but I'm sure I can squeeze you in" I teased

"Well lucky me"

"Olivia are you coming?" Hermione shouted

"I better head to class, I'll see you tonight Ced"

"Alright, see you then Jade" he walked away

As I turned around I felt those eyes.

He was the only person at his table now. Everyone was headed to class.

He looked like he wanted to kill me. I seen him roll his tongue on the inside of his cheek and looked down.

He stood up, grabbing his stuff, and left

"What was his problem?" I thought
