A Day of Adventure

I make my way down the elevator with everyone else, and we walk over to the observation tower.

"Last one to the top is a rotten egg!" Dave tell us.

Dave starts running up the stairs, along with Darius, Yasmina, Sammy, Kenji, and Brooklynn, I start walking up the stairs, but Ben stays at the bottom, not moving anywhere, so I stay down to help him.

"Aren't you guys coming?" Brooklynn asks.

"Yeah, just go up top and we'll meet you there." I tell her.

Brooklynn catches up with the group. I can see that Ben is terrified, and that he doesn't want to go up there, so I walk over to him.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"Ummmm.... uhhhhh..... mm mm." He whimpers.

"Take deep breaths, okay?"

He takes deep breaths.

"Okay, now go ahead of me, I'll walk behind you." I tell him.

He walks in front of me, and I follow behind. We make it to the top, and everyone is standing at the edge looking at the dinosaurs.

"Wow!" Darius says.

"Dinosaurs!" Brooklynn whispers.

"There's Brachiosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus!" Darius exclaims.

"Wow, you really do know your stuff Dino-nerd." Brooklynn compliments Darius.

"Check out the..... Brontosaurus." Kenji says.

"They don't have those here, common mistake" Darius tells Kenji. "Are those Sinocaratops?! When did you get those?"

"They are cooking up all kinds of new dinos in that lab." Dave tells him.

"Woah, where are they herding 'em to?" Sammy asks Roxie.

"They're herding them back to their nighttime enclosures." Roxie explains.

Dave signals us to follow him, as we walk to a zipline.

"Enough banter, it's zipline party time!" Dave says.

Dave grabs Ben and puts him on the zipline. I reach out trying to grab him before Dave buckles him in, knowing he doesn't want to go first.

"Me? Maybe Y/n should go first, or Darius? Uh, or anyone, I really don't-"

Dave pushes Ben, and he goes down the zipline.

"Who's going ne-" Dave starts

I immediately sit on the chair, stopping Dave mid sentence. I buckle up and push myself off.

"Woo hoo!" I exclaim.

I start laughing and cheering, I look down, and see dinosaurs walking underneath me, but then I hear Ben scream. I look up and see him almost hit a dinosaur, I watch him till he stops at the end of the zipline. I try to enjoy the rest of my ride, but as soon as my feet hit the ground, I immediately unbuckle, and go to Ben.

"Ben, are you okay?" I ask him.

I walk over to him and I see him quaking. Since nobody else is there yet, I unbuckle him. He jumps off, steps away from the zipline, and curls into a ball. I sit down next to him, and we wait for everyone else.

"It's okay Ben."

I watch everybody come in one by one, and they all get off.

"Alright everybody, follow me and we will go back to camp." Dave tells us.
