Hey Guys! Sorry I've been gone for like half a month, a lot hit at once lol. School, birthdays, and some family stuff, ya know. Anyways, I'm backkk.

I'm planning on trying to update this story about once or twice a week, not really sure what days. Most likely I'll always have a chapter out on Saturdays, maybe Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Anyways, back to the story that's been on a break for 15 days!

Varian spun around in his chair, thinking about how he would translate the scroll. I can start by finding the similarities between the Stardrop Scroll and the Demanitus Scroll, if there are similar characters then I already have a partial translation. I can also use what I have from my mother's journal and her translation to create a complete key.  He thought.

He began by comparing the Stardrop Scroll to his memorized, and now re-written, translation key of the Demanitus Scroll. He looked for similarities in characters, punctuation, and grammar. After a little while, he had all the similar pieces marked.

"There." Varian said out-loud. "That's all the similar characters marked. Now, for these differing ones..."

He sat there. Staring. For who knows how long. He was trying to decipher what each symbol could mean. Basing the meanings off similar symbols, structure of the sentences, grammar, and general placement, and guessing. After even longer, so long that Ruddiger had fallen asleep, Varian figured out his basic key.

"YES!" He shouted, waking his raccoon and making him jump up in shock. "Sorry buddy, I didn't mean to startle you." Varian whispered soothingly to his raccoon. Ruddiger shook his head, then tiredly jumped onto Varian's shoulder. Varian smiled at his furry friend, then went back to staring at the scroll and his new key. Now, he could make a generalized full translation. He began to work, but slowly drifted to sleep.

*Time skip to morning and Rapunzel's POV* (kinda)

Rapunzel woke with a start, sitting up so fast that her head hurt.

"Ow..." She muttered to herself. Pascal looked over at her, seemingly worried. "Ah, it's ok buddy, I just got a bit lightheaded, nothing to worry about." She comforted him. But she was worried. Not about her slight headache, but about her ominous dream. What was that? I can't remember it clearly...

Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Rapunzel got up and dressed for the day. She was excited for a new day, and the first thing she would do would be to find her husband. Although her and Eugene were married, they didn't share a room. She knew that maybe someday they would, but that neither were really ready for that. Sighing, she put on her smile and skipped out of her room, heading towards Eugene's.

~~~
Once she was there, she knocked on the door twice before barging in.
"Eugene! It's a new day! Come on, we have fun to do!" Rapunzel yelped joyfully as she danced around his room to his bed. She peered over at it, seeing her husband lying there, groaning about how early it was.
"Actually, it's already like 8 am. Time to get the day started!" Rapunzel said to him. He only groaned in response, slowly rolling over to get up.
"Sunshine, I know you like to get going early, but I for one, like my sleep." He mumbled tiredly.
Rapunzel laughed, hugging him tightly as he sat up in his bed. Eugene groaned once more, but then hugged her back, placing a kiss on here cheek before finally getting up and stretching his tired limbs.
"Alright alright I'm up. So, what are we doing today?" Eugene said, still tired.
"We're going to have fun!" Rapunzel replied happily, before placing a kiss on his cheek and dancing back out of the room. "Once you're dressed, come down for breakfast, I'll explain then!"
~~~
Varian woke up when he hit his head against something hard. "Ow!" He tiredly yelped, his eyes trying to find where he was. After a moment he realized he was on the floor of his lab, his head right next to his desk. Guess I smacked my head against the desk...  He thought. He sat there for a moment, letting his eyes completely adjust to the light and surroundings. Ruddiger was curled up on his bag that held some of his supplies, slowly opening his eyes as well.

"Heheh, guess we fell asleep buddy." Varian said laughing slightly to Ruddiger. His racoon friend just arched his back in a stretch before sitting back down. "I'm still a bit worried though, that voice was back, but it seemed so far away..." Varian shook his head. "No, I don't have time to wonder about that right now. I need to translate this scroll. If I can do that, then I can research its meaning, and figure out why my mother had to...sacrifice herself to it." He hyped himself up.

He then stood up and stretched, silently sitting back in his chair, and staring back at his work. He then began his translation.

"That's something about the power of the Stardrop...that's about its origin, though it seems convoluded... and that...that's the incantation. Though it seems to be even more convoluded. It's hard to decipher, but I think...I think it activates the power of the Stardrop for any who hold it."

He began writing down what he could translate from the incantation. Getting bits and pieces. Finally, he got the first verse. The beginning of the incantation. The start, of a power, that he didn't fully understand, but intended to. The beginning, the spark, of his untested power, a power that could be good or bad, helpful or hurtful, heroic or villanous. The power, of the Stardrop.

'Stars that gleam and glow,

Shining in the night,

Illuminate this path,

And burn, forever bright.'

End Pt. 2.

(A/N) Sup guys! So that's the end of this chapter! Again, sorry it's so late! Anyways, I'm not sure if I'll make a part 3 or just a different chapter for the next part, but I soon reveal the rest of the incantation. I actually created the incantation before any other part of the story, it was kinda like the inspiration. I've just been waiting for a good point to put it in lol .

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed. As always, if you have any thoughts or constructive criticism feel free to comment, and if you like it please consider voting or adding this to your library or reading list.

I have a general release schedule now, so it should be pretty steady paced!

Thanks~
