~ timeskip to Thursday; the day when Jessica and Flora go shopping ~

"Mom! Do you need this?" Jessica asked spontaneously pointing at multiple things at once. Flora looked over to her and saw what she had been pointing at, she sighed and shook her head. "No, we don't need that." She stated. Jessica nodded her head and kept looking for anything she might have needed.

Now, you might be wondering? Why was she constantly looking for things Flora might need?
Well- Long story short, Flora had forgotten her shopping list, and that's. . . a big problem. She's actually very organized on where she keeps things at, maybe she was just so busy that she forgot. Still, it's rare for that to happen.

"Oh Jessica! Dear!" Flora called out to Jessica excitedly, she whipped her head to her. "Yes Mom??" She asked with a slight tint of confusion. Flora smiled at her and picked a piece of ripped paper from the ground. Jessica gasped, it was the shopping list Mom forgot to bring! Well. . . half of it , but it's something. "Wha-???" Jessica confusedly said out loud. Flora giggled a bit. "I might have accidentally ripped part of the list while I was grabbing my purse and left the other piece at home." she exclaimed.

"At least we now know what to specifically buy now, well. . . some. ." She said relieved reading the list on what she'd have to buy, but also slightly seemed stressed knowing she would have to remember what the other part of the list was to buy. "I guess after I finish buying these, I'll just buy the basics in food as the other half." she concluded.

Jessica nodded. "Yeah okay Mom, that seems like a good idea!" she happily said. Flora stared at her and laughed. "Okay then you silly little girl." She jokingly said at her while patting her head, then eventually turning her attention to the cart she had in front of her.

She read the list a bit before humming a bit. "It seems we need about a gallon of milk first." She began. Jessica nodded going to the Dairy area, in honesty they haven't had milk from about two weeks now. So it was a good call by Flora putting milk in the list.

Jessica finally headed over to where the dairy was and searched for the needed milk. She opened the fridge it had been kept in and took out a gallon of milk, it was freezing her fingertips. She struggled to take it back to where Flora and the shopping cart was, but she managed. Once she gave Flora the milk , she smiled. "Thank you Jessica, this is exactly the milk brand I needed." She chirped.

Jessica gave her a big smile and looked over to the list she was holding in her hands. She stifled a bit but relaxed. "Now what we need next is olive oil." She stated. Jessica looked up to her and made a questionable face. "What's olive oil?" she questioned at her. Flora widened her eyes in surprise before realizing I had no clue what 'olive oil' meant.

"Oh!!" Flora said. She chuckled a bit and got down to her level. "Olive oil sweetie, is the substance your Father pours on the pan before making anything like eggs, or bacon." She explained. "It also makes it tastier." She stated, at her booping her nose.

Jessica giggled a bit before rubbing her nose and soon heading off looking for olive oil in the sections of the supermarket.

Flora and Jessica had finally finished shopping, and it had actually been really fun for the both of them. Jessica got to hang out with her more. She smiled at the thought happily as she skipped alongside Flora while she was pushing the shopping cart.

'I love Mom so much! She was so independent of herself.'

Soon they were heading off to Flora's car, as she pushed the shopping cart filled with bags of food she recently bought, Jessica was right beside her.
