Adrien was woken by a knock at his bedroom door "Wake up" Gabriel said emotionless
"Uhhh" Adrien moaned pushing himself up "Why does he have to be such a downer?"
Plagg yawned "I prefer Nathalie, she's slightly less... Boring"
Adrien gave him an unamused look
"Like I said... only slightly" Plagg stretches
Adrien got out of bed and put on his clothes, he slid his watch on "It's Sunday" he yawned "Let's go" he pointed to his pocket
Plagg flew into his pocket and Adrien went downstairs
He ate breakfast then went back to his room where his computer was ringing, his friends were FaceTiming him
He answered and Alya, Nino, Marinette and his other friends were there "Hi Adrien!" They said almost simultaneously
Adrien sat infront of his computer "Hi guys, why did you call?"
Chloe tried to talk but Lila butted in "We were wondering if you wanted to come out for some Ice cream at Andre Glaciers icecream stand"
Chloe took over "Apparently he's on that bridge again" she looked away
Adrien looked down sadly "I wish I could but I can't risk it"
"Can't risk what?"Alya asked
"There's like a bug going around and I don't want to risk it" Adrien sighed
"What? We're young and healthy, a bug won't hurt us bro" Nino protested
He just realised he hadn't told his friends about Nathalie "Well, I don't want to get Nathalie sick"
"What?" Alix was confused "isn't that your dads assistant, she's not that old?"
Adrien laughed slightly before his smile drooped again "I completely forgot to tell you guys, Nathalie's been sick"
Marinette saw the sadness on her crushes face
"Is it contagious?!" Chloe pushes herself away from the laptop
"My father won't tell me but she's been coughing and having dizzy spells for the last few months... I ... It just reminds me of my mother I guess" Adrien played with his hands
There was a quick silence before Chloe ruined it "you never told us, if we knew we would have supported you"
Adrien smiled, he never knew Chloe could be so Empathetic "I didn't want to bother anyone with my problems"
"Adrien, your the glue that hold us together, without you I wouldn't have met kagami" Luka pulled Kagami into a hug (Hope your ok with Lukagami because they're dating at this point in time 😯)
"You should be thanking my father, he's the one who introduced me to Kagami" Said Adrien
Alya checked her watch "I'm really sorry Adrien but Andre won't be open when we get there if we stay any longer"
Adrien smiled "I have to practice piano anyway, my father would kill me if I don't"
They all called off and went to get ice cream while Adrien practiced his piano in silence
Meanwhile Adrien got to thinking "Marinette seemed nice During that, do you think she's single?"
