ultimate/shsl: ultimate potion maker

a/n: you're himiko's older sibling and you make potions for her. they don't do anything, but they somehow got you the title of ultimate potion maker. you know himiko doesn't have any magic, but you don't wanna crush her dream just cuz she's watched one too many harry potter movies

"a magic show? angie, kaede just got executed, this isn't the time to have magic shows!"

angie laughed.

"atua says that it's alright! nothing bad will happen at the show if we have it tomorrow morning!" - angie

i facepalmed.

"whatever, have a magic show. but if somebody dies, you're the prime suspect. himiko, you'll be secondary suspect"

"nyeh...if atua says nothing will happen, i'm not worried about something like being a suspect..." - himiko

i facepalmed again as everybody left the dining hall. i then felt somebody jump on my back.

"piggyback ride!"

"what do you want, kokich--"

"get off of her, degenerate male!"

i watched as tenko ran over to us.
'not this again..' i thought.

tenko pulled kokichi off of my back and smiled at me.

"i'm sorry for this annoying brat, y/n! i understand that you're stressed out, so how about we hang out in my dorm?"

"and why would they wanna hang out with somebody like you, tenko?"

"what do you mean by that?"

kokichi laughed.

"stop asking dumbass questions..! you're a lousy, bitchy feminist who's been very offensive to them recently"

tenko and i were confused.
'tenko offended me?'

"there's no way i'd offend her! if i did, she would tell me!"

"nishihi~! you really are an idiot, huh?"

he laughed again.

"you did offend them! just now actually!"

i thought about what tenko had just said, gasping quietly when i realized.
tenko had called me a 'she'.
'maybe it was an accident..? people tell me that i look like both a girl and boy...yeah, maybe that's it..!'

"you've always called them a she. but what you didn't know was that they were nonbinary! they don't classify as a gender!"

tenko was silent.

"why're so quiet, tenko? is it because you've realized your a horrible friend? is it because you've accepted the fact that you're an insignifigant human being that can't do anything right?"

tenko fell to her knees.

"i'm sorry for my mistake, y/n! i was a bad friend by not asking what your pronouns were! please forgive me!"

"tenko, it's fine! and you're not a bad friend, either, don't ever say that again. if you have any questions about me, just ask!"

tenko looked up at me.

"o-okay! i do have one question...what's your sexuality?"

i smiled.

"pansexual!"

her eyes lit up as she stood.

"that's amazing! pansexuals are cool!"

tenko and i kept talking until kokichi interuppted us.

"jeez, get a room, you two~!"

the two of us blushed, covering our faces.

tenko is super easy to write! i also think she's the first girl i've written a oneshot for! as a straight female myself, i tend to write about more dudes than girls. but hey, this was cool! tenko is going onto the list! oh, this was gonna be a kokichi x reader x tenko, but i changed the idea halfway through. lastly, i like how some of strongest characters from danganronpa are girls
