Anissa's POV
Nissa
We both knew that this situation was going to end this way. I'm sorry to dump this in your lap. You were always better at this than me. I left everything necessary on my dresser.

I sighed with irritation as I tried one last call. I looked up to see myself outside Teller-Morrow Garage. I peeped at the line of motorcycles parked at the farther end of the auto shop. I can't believe this was happening! I ripped the note out of frustration, tossing the paper everywhere. Okay, Nissa, you can do this! No big deal. Looking out my review mirror, I turned into the busy lot, gravel crunching under my tires. My eyes scanned the lot, trying to look for the familiar blonde. I parked as close to the office, getting a shady spot. I turned off my car, checking my lip gloss in the mirror.

I looked in the back seat to see a pair of blue eyes staring back. "Hey, baby," I said to the one-year-old baby girl who smiled when she saw my face. Nyla had Toni's heart-shaped face, but the eyes were Jax's.
