I woke up in a shock as if I had a nightmare. "Am I still dreaming?" I panicked and quickly checked my phone that I hide, I opened it and it still has no service. "I'm not dreaming... I'm still in the Professor's place." I sighed as I confirmed myself. I plugged off the charger and put my phone in my bag. I opened the door and found my way to the kitchen.

I found the kitchen and I saw Akiko-san preparing breakfast. "Good morning." I greeted. "お早う, (y/n)-chan." (Ohayou : Good morning) She greeted back. "Breakfast is ready.". "Where is Sakamoto-san?" I asked. "He's washing his face in a moment. Do you want to use the bathroom?" I timidly nodded and Akiko-san told me to wait. I took a seat and grabbed myself a cup of tea. "Where are you from, (y/n)-chan?" asked Akiko-san while sitting down. "I'm from (o/cn)." I replied. "Do you have any relatives here in Japan?". "My uncle is in Japan." I half answered. I couldn't imagine meeting my uncle in his young age in this time.

We didn't talk much after that and I just finished my tea. Few seconds later, Sakamoto-san finally joined us. "Good morning, you two." He greeted us. "Good morning." We greeted back and I looked up to see him. His eyes were sharp but he has a warm smile, it fits him just fine. I can feel my heart racing but I have to remind myself about Akiko-san.

"Weren't you going to use the bathroom, (y/n)-chan?" Akiko-san's question snapped me back. "Y-yes! Please excuse me." I stood up and quickly went to the bathroom. "Smells nice..." I shook my head and slapped myself. Keep yourself together, (y/n)! I washed my face and looked at the mirror, "I need to go back. But isn't this what I want?" I started talking to myself.

"I was just joking about this with Maya after the concert and it finally happened! Maybe I should give this a try while finding a way to go home." I looked at the sink and I had an idea to fill it up. I discarded the idea and exited the bathroom after drying my face. 'I don't want to worry them first thing in the morning...' I thought to myself and went to my room. I noticed a spare underwear on the bed. Akiko-san must've put it here while I was in the bathroom. I changed my clothes to the new ones I bought and combed my hair before joining them for breakfast.

"Have you had breakfast yet, (y/n)-chan?" Sakamoto-san asked. "I-I only had tea earlier." I timidly answered. "Have some more. We're going out today." I half blushed when I heard it. He looked at me, seemingly not knowing what happened. "Didn't you say that you wanted to go home?" he asked again. "Y-yes! Right." I sat down and ate breakfast. After we finished, I grabbed my bag and put on my jacket then went to the station with Sakamoto-san.

We took the train to the university and it took about twenty minutes and we got off when we arrived. We walked to the university and took a turn to a familiar direction. I saw the building and Sakamoto-san was right. It was still under construction. "Are you sure you live here?" he asked. "I guess I don't..." I weakly answered. "Or maybe you live in one of the properties there?" he pointed to a familiar street. "I don't think the landlord will take another tenant... she doesn't like that." I commented. "How do you know that?". "Um... Lucky guess(?)"

He laughed it off, thinking that I was being silly and we walked back to the university. "Tokyo's University of Music and Fine Arts." I mentioned the name. "That's the name. You know... I attended this university.". "You're an alumni?" I was surprised and amazed in the same time. I didn't know I went to the same college like Professor did. "I didn't know! Y-you must be one of the top students there.". "I wasn't that smart..." he chuckled, being modest to my compliment.

"Are you interested to enroll?" he asked. "I do have an interest but I'm still not sure." I lied again. We left the place and walked around the area. It's still morning and I don't really know what to do since I'm stuck here. We went to some familiar streets and I remembered Maya's place. I told Sakamoto-san I know a place and he let me to lead the way. I recognized some of the buildings and I remembered correctly the direction.

I found the place and it looked a little antique. 'I wish you can see this, Maya...' I giggled at the thought. "Did you find anything?". "Nothing really." He asked how I know the place and I lied again, telling him it was just a hunch. We continued our walk to spend the morning. "Anywhere else you want to go?". "I don't know... maybe... are there any pubs here?" I asked and he said there are some then lead the way.

There weren't a lot back in my time but it relieves me somehow. I silently sighed in relieve. I felt something in my jacket's pocket and it was the ticket when I pulled it out. "I thought I put it in my binder." I muttered. "Did you say something?" I jumped and I quickly put the ticket back in the pocket. "I-it's nothing. I was thinking something else." I came up with an excuse. "I-if you don't mind me asking, do you have any other activities aside myself or maybe with Akiko-san?"

"Hmm... Hosono-san hasn't sent any announcements yet and for Akiko, she has her own schedule. Why do you ask?". "I'm worried that I wasted your time for dragging you out like this." I let out my concerns. Sakamoto-san giggled and he said he's fine with it. "Let's head back. I don't want to miss any calls." Said Sakamoto-san and I nodded. We walked back to the station and took the train back.

I took a seat while he stood. I offered mine but he declined it. We were back in silence in the entire trip. I gathered all my courage, "S-Sakamoto-san..." I called. "Yes?" he responded. "T-there's something else I want to ask.". "What is it?" I almost lost my guts but I managed to hold it and said, "I-I'll tell you when we're back." He asked if it's important. "I can't tell you that now.". "Alright." He understood. We reached the station and we got off the train and went back to Sakamoto-san's place.

"We're back!" he called out while opening the door. "Welcome back! How was it?" asked Akiko-san. "The building is still under construction like I told her last night." Sakamoto-san answered. Akiko-san looked at me and asked to call my uncle to pick me up. I lied by saying that my uncle is on a business trip overseas. It would be very awkward if he asked why I was in the 80's when I got back. If I ever will though...

"Anyway, (y/n)-chan... what was it that you wanted to ask?". "Excuse me?" I snapped back. "You said you wanted to say something back in the train." He reminded me. "Oh! R-right." I took a deep breath. "This might sound weird but... please accept me as your student!" I bowed. "What?". "I... I intend to work for you." I lost my gut, "I thought you two have unexpected busy schedules in some days and you might have less time to take care of the place." I gave my reasons.

(y/n)-chan bowed again after she explained. "Will you excuse us for a moment?" I pulled Akiko to another room to discuss. "What do you think?" she asked. "I'm not sure." I hesitated. "She seems serious about it. I know we only know her for a day but she has a point there." She then shared her thought that (y/n)-chan's intention is to go home.

"But what about Miu?". "I'm sure (y/n)-chan can take care of Miu well." Akiko gave me a reassuring smile. "Plus, I don't have to hire a babysitter and I can discuss to (y/n)-chan to take turns so she can have time for you too.". "That is a good reason." I pointed out. I thought about it again for a bit and I've made my decision. I nodded to Akiko as a sign of my decision and we went back to the living room where (y/n)-chan is waiting.

"Sorry to keep you waiting.". "I-it's alright." She replied to Akiko. "So in exchange of your apprenticeship, you will work for us?". "Yes. Housework or assistance... anything you require from me." I asked if there was any more reason why and she said what Akiko told me. "When I can go back home, maybe I can teach others what you taught me." She added. "Alright then." I gave my hand.

She looked at us in disbelief and shook my hand in excitement. "Thank you so much!" she finally took back her hand. "What should I call you?". "Pardon me?" (y/n)-chan asked again how she should address me. "Ryuichi is fine." I answered. "Understood, Ryuichi-sensei!" she happily replied. I felt a little awkward. "Are you alright?". "I'm fine. This is my first time." I let out a chuckle. "Is there anything I can do?" asked (y/n)-chan.

Akiko then immediately took charge and started explaining the needs for Miu. She paid attention and went with Akiko to start her first day.

A.N : Hey guys! I might prolong the uploads for the Christmas chapter and the New Year chapter to the exact days. This is the chapter before the two specials and I'll keep them in draft until the day comes. Hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you in the next chapter! Drop a vote and share it with your friends and family. RD out!! Boi!!!
