POEM
The forest may seem unreal,
Because it is a dark shade of teal,
It may not be as ideal,
That it is not coloured like an eel,
But that is how it feels.
Like a tree about to peel,
Like a fish without a gill,
Like a painting that is not surreal,
Like a gap that does not fill.
Alas its job is to conceal,
Those who do not kneel,
No matter the look nor the squeal,
Because that is its weal.
CHARACTER APPEARANCE
Odan (The Dragon Rider):
Eyes: Yellow with cat scleras
Hair: Auburn, long and unkempt
Extra: Stubble, sharp jawline, resting scowling face
Nevada (Crisiant Wyvern):
Eyes: fuchsia morganite
Hair: shoulder-length white with emeralds and sapphires
Extra: skin littered with sapphires and emeralds as armor, naked, lean and fit
Zoe (Heart of the Forest):
Eyes: Pale gray
Hair: Blue
Össur (Ice Dragon):
Body made of ice and water.
Shoots liquid nitrogen as fire.
CHAPTER SUMMARY
Odan, Össur, Enfys and Nevada are panicking. Enfys tries to heal Zoe but it is in vein. Odan orders Össur to warn the forest's residents whilst Nevada tries to freeze the barrier together but the glass is too heavy.
Zoe's lines:
When she meets the humans:
"Oh, human do not fret,
Nor be filled with dread.
What you see is just a shell,
I trust you could tell"
When they cut down the tree:
"Greetings, beings of skin and bone,
All these years I have been alone.
It is nice to see you here,
Look, I'm grinning ear to ear!
My name is Zoe, scandalous men,
The maiden keeping the peace ever since then.
You're here to erase me, are you not?
You're free to do so, don't let me rot"
When the leader hesitates to kill her:
"What are you waiting for, selfish beast?
How long till I'm deceased?
Take my head, chop it off if you must,
You are close to turning that barrier to dust"
"Is that not what you wish?
Do you find me pretty?
Is that why you're hesitating like a fish?
Well, isn't that a pity..."
When Odan arrives:
There is a disturbance in the clearing,
One that won't let my wish come true,
Man of the outside, stop stalling,
My death is due.
No, I'm not well,
Odan can you not tell?
How stupid can you be?
It's clear as day, can't you see?!
Össur enters:
No, halt, you beast!
You're ruining the feast!
After Odan flops:
This forest shall burn,
The barrier will go in flames,
Thou can stay and mourn
This fire will spread through my veins!
