Venus's POV:
The Battle of Hogwarts was over. the second wizarding war was over. but my battle wasn't. it just started actually. right after the battle was over, the ministry rounded up all the deatheaters they could capture and put them on trail. and that includes The Malfoys.
Today was Their trail, and i got the permission to witness on draco's case. my family and i headed towards the hearing.
" Rosewood." Kingsley greeted my father
" Minister Kingsley" they shook hands
" Ms. Rosewood, did you make up your mind on my offer ?" he asked me
" yah i did. i accept the positions minister." i said smiling
" thats wonderful, we will get you set up as soon as possible and we will inform you when you can start your job" he told me and left towards the hearing
you see i dont have to go back to Hogwarts to finish my last year of schooling, because i was offered a position by the minister. i was the soon to be head of department of international magical corporation, due to my travels and studies in different countries, my ability to speak different languages, and my beliefs on peace and diversity; which kingsley stated were very uncommon characteristics for a pureblood from the sacred 28 families.
we entered the hearing hall and sat down beside the minister since i was to witness soon. after a few minutes of everyone settling down, they brought in the Malfoy's together to start the hearing. they were all wearing shackles and it pained my heart to see draco in the state he was in.
" we are gathered today to begin the hearing for Draco, Narcissa, and Lucuis Malfoy. all convicted of support of Voldemort and his crimes against muggles and wizards and their support for his actions." kingsley said
" Narcissa Malfoy. you have been convicted of your support for the dark lord, do you deny ?" he asked her
" no i do not." she said
" so you agree that you have worked for the dark lord, known about his crimes, and did not report them ?" he asked
