(y/n) pov

It's just another normal day at work. I walked the door of my flower shop and turned the sign from 'closed' to 'open', unlocking the front door. I went back behind the counter, putting the key away and starting to organize some stuff behind the counter. Until lunch break there were a few normal customers who just wanted a bouquet or a potted plant. My best friend Shuichi came by too, getting a bouquet of flowers for his significant other (you can decide, just take your fav. Shuichi ship lol). He got a bouquet of different flowers, that all matched pretty well.

I went to the front door, turning the sign to 'close' and locked the door, heading upstairs.

Once there I turned on the TV, starting a gameplay from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. While half watching it and half listening to it I made myself some lunch. Finishing my food I took it and plopped onto the couch, eating while watching the gameplay.

After two hours of watching I turned the TV off and went back downstairs into my flower shop, turning the sign back to 'open' and unlocking the door. I grabbed a watering can and started watering the potted plants, then filling some vases, after that I put the watering can back in it's usual place and got back behind the counter, making some new bouquets.

The door opened and a tall female with pinkish and messy hair walked in.

"Hello, how can I help you?" I asked smiling, while standing up.

She didn't answer directly, she came to the counter, slapped 20 bucks on it and began to speak:

"How do I passive-aggressively say 'fuck you' in flower?"

I held back my laughter.

"You need a bouquet of different kinds of flowers, should I make one?" I told her.

"That would be fucking amazing!" she answered.

"Well then, you need geraniums, they stand for stupidity, foxglove, for insecurity, a bunch of meadowsweet, which stand for uselessness, some yellow carnations for disappointment and a few orange lilies in-between, they stand for hatred. That's gonna be quite striking and full of loathing" I said while creating a bouquet for this beauty.

"So, do you like how it looks?" I showed her the bouquet.

"Yeah, it looks nearly as good as me, thanks buddy" she said, taking the bouquet and leaving the shop.

I shook my head laughing.

There's a lot of crazy people out there.

This was some kind of routine by now, every week she came into my store, asking for a bouquet of flowers with some special meaning. Sometimes we would talk a bit and sometimes we would even drink a cup of tea/coffee together until a new customer came or she had to leave.

Today was another one of those days were she would come.

"Hey there, (y/n) how do I say that I love someone in flower? With all that emotion stuff y'know?"

Ah another strange request, weekly routine, here I am.

Miu might be strange, but that's fine, that's why I've come to like her a lot.

"So, you'd need red roses that stand for love and passion, maybe some Gerbera daisies to show joy, one or two sunflowers for loyalty and adoration, a bunch of tulips for hope and true love, a few camellias for desire and at last some ranunculus for radiant charm and attractiveness" I explained, showing her the bouquet.

"Does it look how you want it to look?" I asked.

She looked at the bouquet and then back at me, fascinated, her jaw nearly hanging on the floor I could guess.

"That looks a lot prettier than I do, and nearly as pretty as you" she said softly.

I've never seen her like that, all soft and quiet. It's kinda cute I've gotta say.

"How much do you get for it today?" she asked.

"Nothing, it's for free, I've been meaning to tell you exactly that, so see it as a gift" I smiled at her.

She looked at my, her jaw dropping open again.

"Well, you see... I wanted to get it so I could make you one...to tell you how I feel...about you"

That was kind of unexpected.

Really unexpected.

My face flushed red, same goes for hers too.

Suddenly something pulled me over the counter, what ended up in me crushing into someone.

Miu.

I didn't really have any time to react before she kissed me.

My face said tomato.

But I kissed her back anyways.

That's been two years ago, now we were living together in a nice house, on the ground floor was a flower shop with inventions, where I sold flowers and she her inventions. And on the first floor we had our living space.

It was a nice and peaceful life, as peaceful as it can be with my wild Miu.

Every now and then we would meet up with our friends, her old classmates, like Shuichi, Kaede, Kokichi, Kaito and so on.

And this perfect life all began, with a weird event like a customer wanting to know how to say 'Fuck you' with flowers.

I never imagined that this could happen, but I'm glad it did.
