CHAPTER ONE

              Ariel POV

'An apple a day keeps the doctor away'. I ate an apple today so why the hell am I with a doctor, well because my clumsy ass fell down on stairs in my high school. But nothing serious just some scratches on my foot.

"ouch" this antiseptic hurts like a bitch.

"Done" the doctor told me, finally!

"thanks doc" Anna my best-friend said.

Anna is a beautiful girl with straight black hair and perfect figure

"Why don't you look while walking Ari, you are so clumsy, always end up hurting yourself". Anna scolded me.

"Next time ( hihi )" I said laughing sheepishly

Well I am Ariel, 20 years old, studying in high school. I am an orphan, lived in an orphanage but now since I am above 18 I live in hostel now on my own with Anna. I do two jobs to provide for myself, Anna and me work together in both jobs. In evening in a café and at night at a bar. I have fair skin , brownish blonde hair , have full heart shaped lips. I am around 5'4" and I have a slim and feminine figure. I don't care what the world says, I feel beautiful myself.

"Let's go" Anna shouts. So now we are going to our class.

So here we are, in Ms. Braitley class hearing her blabber. She is so boringggggg, ugh. I look around in the class and see John and wave at him.

"Ariel" my teacher shouts

"Yes" I say

"Can u tell me what I was teaching?" she said

Just before I could start speaking the bell rang. Thank god. LOL

Everybody starts leaving the class.

I also start packing my stuff when john comes to me and Anna.

"Hey" he says

"Hey Johnyyy, missed me?" I teased him

"No darlinggg I missed Annaaaaaaa" he teased her

"Oh john you are hurting my feelings" I said

"Too bad I didn't miss you John" Anna said. And we all started laughing.

After that we all went to cafeteria and started our chit chat

"Hey Ariel are you coming to the party tonight?" John asked

"Which party?" I asked

"It's thrown by Bethany" Anna told me

"Oh! but I don't want to go to any party, and you know that we have job at bar!" I stated

"Heyyy Ariel!" Came Bethany herself

Bethany is schools typical bitch she is included with every other boy of our high school but fortunately she is good to me and my friends.

"Hey Beth! How are you?" I asked

"I am good Ari and I am throwing a party tonight so you have to come with your friends." She said

"Yeah but Beth we have our job at the bar, you know!" I tried to convince her

"Oh darling! The party is gonna run late, so you can come after your that job." She told me.

"Oh really! Of course we will come!" exclaimed Anna happily

"Okay then see you there and John you will come for me right!" Beth tried to flirt with him.

"Yes" John said and Bethany smiled our way and went away

"Ooooooo someone is blushing" we teased John .

"But Anna I don't want to go to any party" I told them

"Oh shush Ariel live a little" said Anna

"But "

"You are coming with us Ari" said John

"Come on please Ari" said Anna showing her puppy dog eyes. And I agreed eventually also I can't win against them both.

And then John went home and we got to hostel after attending all our lectures.

---- Time skip ----

I am on my way to cafeteria alone.

So this is what happened. We went home and suddenly Anna felt sick so she had to take a leave from job today.

So here I am going alone to a laborious day.

I work at the 'taste the best' café and I reached there and went inside the changing room for staff to change into my waitress dress.

As usual I stood at the counter taking orders from customers.

I was preparing a customer's order when suddenly I heard a deep authoritative masculine voice

"Excuse me!" he said

I turned around and looked in the most beautiful pair of blue eyes. They were so hypnotising.

"Miss" he said and the trance broke down

My cheeks turned red due to embarrassment. Why was I staring at him like that, anyways "Yes sir! what would you like to have?" I asked looking at him.

He was so handsome with black hair, fair skin and stubble beard. He looked like 6'2" something.

"What's the best here according to you?" he asked looking at me

"Well I like the cappuccino and apple pie the most" I said

"Well then cappuccino and apple pie it is!" he said

"Right away sir! please have your seat" I told him

He sat on a table straight from counter but near the window

I prepared his order and asked Lily to serve him. Lily is my fellow worker.

"Sure!" She smiled and went taking his order

After a few seconds she came back "well Ariel he is asking for you to get his order"

I looked at her, she shrugged, gave me the tray with his order

Then I looked at him, he was staring at me.

I took the tray to him , kept it on the table and said "enjoy!" And I was just turning around when he said "Excuse me!"

I looked at him and asked "yes sir"

He said "what's your name"

I asked "why sir is there any problem with the order? sir"

He said "no! not at all, I just want to know the name of such a beautiful lady"

I started blushing, "Oh! Ariel, nice to meet you!" I said

"Such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady" he said

"Thank you!" I said meekly and came back

After a while of working I looked at his table, it was empty.

I went there to clean the table and saw he left a tip of 200$ with the bill.

'He must be pretty rich' I thought also 'he was wearing Armani suit of course he is rich' I told myself

I went back to the counter and started working again forgetting about the handsome man.
