TWEEEEEEET

A whistle blew from the far end of the court. It was Aizawa, wearing a sweater and baggy sweat pants, holding a basketball in his hand.

"As you all know, the first and second strings both have a game next week. We play Shinobutsuki High. They aren't known for their basketball, so it should be a nice warmup game." He quickly threw the ball at Bakugo's head, and he caught it with one hand. Aizawa smirked. "Anyways, second strong season lasts only 10 games, while first string lasts 25, and has playoffs." He pointed to the second string team. "We can add up to twenty-five players too the roster. Some of you second stringers might get a shot if you play well enough."

"Who cares? They won't play meaningful minutes anyways." Bakugo spat. "Heck, we don't even use our full bench, we don't need 25 players. That's a bit excessive anyways, the NBA only has 15 players, and only 13 can play."

"Fine Bakugo, since you want to be the coach." He took the basketball back from Bakugo. "Just 10 first stringers will play in the next game. Those of you idiots who slack off won't play." The first string went silent, but Bakugo just smirked.

"No problem. I'll crush them all." He cracked his knuckles, grabbed a basketball, and started to shoot. The rest of them just stood there watching.

"Well?" Aizawa said angrily. "What are you waiting for? Get your asses moving!" The players quickly obliged, and team shoot around started.

Midoriya was alone, silently shooting threes. Most of them were falling, so he just kept shooting. He noticed today he was shooting good. Today might be a good day.

He looked around and saw Mezo Shoji grabbing rebounds with his huge height.

Bakugo was using his jumping ability to throw the ball down, dunking on everyone.

Iida was practicing defense on Uraraka. She was trying to get past him, but he kept her in front of him.

Aizawa blew his whistle again.

"Scrimmage." He said simply. "Bakugo, Uraraka, Kaminari, Sato, and Koda, Versus Midoriya, Asui, Jirou, Todoroki, and Shoji. The rest of you will watch for now." He spun the game ball. "Well? What you waiting for, a pat on the back? Get on the court."

The group of children walked onto the court slowly, and Aizawa walked out with the ball.

"First to 21, I'll be calling fouls and penalties. Must win by at least 5 points." He looked at SHoji and Koda, about to do the tip-off. "Ready?" He asked. They nodded, and the ball was thrown in the air.

Scrimmage had begun.
