Chapter 29: Something New (2)

AUTHOR'S POV:

Ever since Jungkook stormed off to his hotel room, Yujin felt restless. She couldn't help but feel guilt course through her. Had I not pulled on such a bold move, everything would've turned out better. She cursed herself in her mind. Stupid Yujin, can't even keep your hands to yourself.

She thought she was doing a nice job at covering up her distress, but what she didn't knew was that Jangmi's eyes were observing her sharply. Since she found Jungkook's behaviour quite odd (actually, it's been like that for quite a while), her mind was busily working on finding the cause behind it.

She wasn't a fool. She could clearly see that Yujin was toying with her food and hadn't even touched anything since then. Her more than frequent sighs, the frown which seems to have made its way to her face and her fingers drumming on the table were clear signs that something was wrong and that it concerns with a certain angry bunny who had hopped off to god knows where.

Seriously, what's wrong with this couple? Can't they just fuck and make up like that? They clearly can't live without eachother but they are still being childish like this... She sighed, and decided to give a push to this otherwise hopeless ship. She stood up, startling everyone including Taehyung who dropped his chicken piece in shock.

"Excuse me guys, I gotta go washroom. Yujin, join me." She didn't even wait for any answer and practically dragged her out of the room they were in. She kept her grip firm on her wrist and only loosened when she reached her destination. Yujin was so much immersed in her thoughts that she didn't even registered where they were going. Hence, she got the shock of her life when she found herself at the doorstep of  Jungkook's hotel room.

"I- We- J-Jangmi- .... Why?" Yujin felt like a toddler who didn't knew why was she standing in front of the Principal's office. She panicked and looked at Jangmi, then the door and continued the cycle again and again. Jangmi, apparantly, was giving her a look which says 'You fucking know why'. But believe her, she was absolutely clueless about this wrong thing.

When she saw that the dumbo wasn't going to take the step, Jangmi took it upon herself and knocked the door. Now Yujin was looking at Jangmi with her wide Bambi eyes as if she had just threw her into Lion's Den. She was about to run for her dear life, when she heard the door getting unlocked and a hand grabbing her free hand, then pulling her swiftly inside and the door getting locked behind her.

She got pushed back to the door and two muscular hands trapped her from both sides. Fear would be an understatement of what she was feeling right now. And when her eyes met with the furious ones of her boyfriend, she felt her breath getting knocked out of her lungs.

Oh no, she mind screamed, I am gonna be dead today.

In the middle of the whole chaos, her eyes failed to notice the fact that the guy standing in front of her was in nothing but a bathrobe. She did noticed, however, but that increased  her anxiety further and their close proximity wasn't even helping. The intensity of Jungkook's gaze were screaming 'danger' in every language.

After what felt liked eternity, Jungkook broke the silence himself by saying, "So you finally decided to pay me a visit, after what you did to me back in the restaurant, huh?" His voice was husky and couple of octaves deeper, which sent shivers down Yujin's back.

"I...uhm, I- uh.. I a-am Sorry." She stammered, which gave away how much intimidated she got just by his tone. Jungkook, however, wasn't having any of it. Call it frustration or pent up anger, but even he had limits, which were crossed long ago, thanks to an oblivious wide-eyed girl.

He bent down and placed his lips directly on the ear shell. He could see how goosebumps were slowly covering her neck and honestly, he was enjoying it. "You know what you did was wrong, am I right SWEETHEART?"
