Fatty thought it over slowly before finally saying, "So, Little Brother lied to you the whole time and did it for your own fucking good."

"What makes you think so?" I asked.

"The Zhangs are a huge family that have tampered with a large number of historical clues in this world for their own purposes. For example, if there were ancient books pointing to the imperial tomb under Changbai Mountain, they would replace some parts of the text after entering the tomb. Those who followed the previous clue to the tomb and found the ancient book would regard the evidence forged by the Zhang family as real history. Damn it, with their strength, they may have set up several traps."

If Poker-face knew that his family had completely tampered with historical clues and set up dangerous traps at the end of them, then in his view, as long as I entered the mystery, I would be walking in a dark jungle full of traps.

Judging from his life experiences in Tibet, I was afraid that no one would tell him what kind of traps existed when he became patriarch. Thousands of years of plots and the historical clues in this world... what was real and what was fake? Did Poker-face even know?

If he wanted to learn his own secrets, I was afraid he would have to slowly sort through the many traps set by his own family. This may be the reason why he kept going to and fro among the ancient tombs.

I stumbled into this mystery and went into these tombs, only to suffer a torrent of abuse everywhere. Don't tell me all these fucking places were traps set up by them! So that was why these places were so dangerous—they were all prepared to kill grave robbers!

"Guys." Short Feng, who wasn't participating in our discussion, grabbed our attention: "The craftsmen are here."

I held up the torch and saw that the path in front of us had come to an end, and a low stone door had appeared. In front of the door was a pile of human bones lying in water.

The bones were scattered, but we could see the lower ones' movements prior to death since they were pressed down by the upper ones. These people wanted to open the stone door, but had all died in front of it.

"Do you think they wanted to escape out of this stone door, or were they trying to keep something out?"

"It's not like we can ask them. Fuck, it looks like there was a production accident here."

Short Feng squatted down and picked up a piece of human bone. It was easily crushed with a little force, and the resulting powder made him choke.
