i woke up just before 6 in the morning, super tired but once i processed that i was awake i jumped out of bed all excited.
i looked at my phone to see nick sleeping peacefully, i was finally going to go today to surprise him.
"bye bub" i softly spoke, ending the call right after. i felt bad for just hanging up and not texting him, but i figured me showing up at his house would make up for it.
i went into my kitchen and grabbed a monster out of the case in the cupboard. normally i drank iced coffee but i didn't feel like making any right now. i also grabbed a granola bar and ate that so i wouldn't be hungry.
my flight was at 7 and i would be getting there around noon texas time. it was almost 6:30 now so i hurried to get myself dressed in a hoodie and leggings and got into my car. i had put my luggage in my car last night so i wouldn't have to worry about it now in the morning.
i managed to get to the airport just in time to make it through security and still have some time to sit down.
i waited patiently and scrolled through tiktok to distract myself as to not text nick back.
he had sent me a good morning text not that long ago and i felt really bad not answering him, assuming he woke up confused about why i wasn't still on the phone with him.
i heard my flight number get called and i picked up my stuff so i could head over there. sucking in a big breath as i boarded my flight. it was finally happening.
