There once was a group of three very unlikely friends.They knew that they were different and that was okay with them.The first was a medium sized dog (for reference his head is about the level of an adult's waist) with white curly fur.The second was a small white dog (slightly bigger than a human baby) whose fur was also but slightly less curly.The third was a orange cat (about the same size as the small dog) with striped fur.The three animals were strays they had never had owners,so they didn't miss living in houses.They had been friends since before any of them could remember.
They all lived in a hollow stump that used to be a fox hole.The stump was on the north side of a flower filled meadow and on the south side there was a park,to the east of the meadow was a stream,which lead in the direction of the park.The three loved their little stump home.When they had noting to do the larger dog and cat would mess around with the little dog,each running through the tall grass in the meadow and poking their heads out occasionally.This drove the little dog to barking and chasing after them only to find that they had moved.But in the end all is forgiven and the three were inseparable.
The three each were good at surviving and smart enough to get what they needed.The small dog was by far the best at begging, as most humans thought that he was a puppy, but even though he was small he wasn't a puppy.The larger dog could open mostly anything from trashcan lids to doors,and had occasionally taken a few towels off of clothes lines.The cat could fish and catch both squirrels and birds.And so the three were happy and content with the life they had.And every night they fell asleep the larger dog curled up then the smaller and then the cat rested on the larger dog's back.
