Undaunted

"Am I supposed to be afraid of you, sir?" I asked, making eye contact with him through the mirror in front of us. The knowledge that he couldn't actually hurt me just fueled my need to push his buttons.

"For your own well being, Kassie, maybe you should be." He scrunched his nose up in a funny way and I noticed a slight sparkle in his eye. He found this just as amusing as I did.

'That was kinda hot.' I thought to myself. 'Bitch stop there's a gun pressed against your head right now.'
