"What?!" Lucas yelled.
"Yeah." Camilla said.
"Let's head back, we've got no time to waste." Carter said, rushing forward.
"No need to panic, Olivia said it has been handled."
"We still gotta go." Lucas said.
"Yeah, I know. Alexa has our bags outside." Camilla replied, then they all walked down the hallway, towards the exit.
"Hey guys." Alexa greeted, standing by the side of the car.
"Let's move." Lucas said, then they all piled into the car, with Camilla seating at the front passenger seat beside Lucas.
The drive to the airport was quick, but the air travel was faster. The air was tense and Camilla could feel everyone's worry, even in the dreadful silence.
The road to the pack was dark and the streetlights lining the road were broken, intentionally, it seemed, with shards of glasses scattered around the long poles.
A man stood in the middle of the dark road, his eyes were a bright purple and his arms were crossed. Lucas raced the car aiming for the man in the middle of the road, but the man wouldn't budge. Lucas pedaled slowly on the brake, with his hands on the steering wheel, and his eyes a bright red. The car came to a sharp halt, throwing everyone in the car almost off their seats.
Camilla couldn't take her eyes off him, it was the first time she was seeing his red eyes closely. It was like a bright light was turned on in his eyes.
Camilla's black irises changed to a bright white, emitting a low growl with every breath she exhaled.
"They're probably here for you, you should lay low and stay in the car, with Alexa. Carter and I will handle this."
"Like hell I would." Camilla defied. "Alexa, you should stay in the car."
"No I'm not. We're not sure how many of them are out there." Alexa replied.
"Baby, you should . . . "
"No, don't argue, let's get out of the car." Alexa cut Carter off.
The four doors to the car opened all at once, and they all stepped out slowly. Lucas and Carter moved to the front of the car, with Camilla and Alexa closely behind them. The man in the middle of the road stood still with his arms still crossed over his chest and a deadly glare aimed straight at Lucas.
"I wouldn't do this if I were you." Lucas warned.
The unknown man let out a loud whistle, then more men and women came out of the forest that lined both sides of the road. Their purple eyeballs perfectly topped off their scary looks and Alexa's heartbeat quickened and was as loud as the croaks of the frogs in the area. About two of the men lunged at Lucas, he ducked the first and his fist caught the chin of the second, knocking him almost lifeless immediately. The other one came at him, but was met by a defying kick across his neck that sent him flying into a nearby pole.
Camilla was having a tough time handling the four rouges trying to get her to submit, she knew she had to think of a way to reduce their numbers, so she charged at one of the rouges who was a woman. She held her arm and twisted it to her back, causing a loud crushing sound as her bones pierced her skin, she then flung the woman to the other man who was now rushing towards her. She lunged up and struck her knee to the face of her attacker, breaking his nose as he let out a loud yelp. She pinned him down, punching his face as hard as she could as he struggled to get out from under her. Another one of the men charged at her from behind, but Carter came to her rescue, twisting his neck in the blink of an eye. Alexa was having more of an easy time as she was attacked by only one of the rouges. After a few minutes of a bloody fight between the two groups, the rouges were left with five men, two of whom were badly injured.
