          Riley shook her head disapprovingly.

"This is a bad idea, Alex.'' She said. "We should ask my brother and it's evening already.''

"Riley, we can't.'' Alexa replied. "You know they're both not on good terms and she said it is a life and death situation. We've got to do this. Now.''

"I don't wanna say this, but you know I don't trust your sister either.'' Riley said.

Alexa leaned forward on the bed.

      "But you trust me, right?''

"Yes. I do. Do you really have to ask?'' Riley replied.

"Exactly. Trust me on this.'' Alexa reclined back to the bed. "Get the pilot's number and tell him it is an emergency. We have to move today. . . like now.''

Riley sighed, leaning her back on the wall.

"Okay, I'll do it, you asshole.'' Riley snickered.

     "Says the cloaca.'' Alexa whistled.

"Fuck you!'' Riley shouted jokingly, then she wiggled her waist playfully out of the room.

"Meet me at the private airfield outside the pack. You know where that is, right?'' Riley asked, poking her head inside from the doorway.

     "Yeah sure. Hurry.''

"Camilla, are you sure they are still coming? It was noon when you called them, it's past nine now.''

"Patience, Olivia.'' Camilla replied. "They should arrive before or in the midnight, Flagstaff is a long distance from here.''

     "Sure.'' Olivia replied.

Elizabeth fidgeted with her fingers as it began to rain, she was never good with the cold. The wind swayed the rain sporadically to the front of the shop where they were seated.

Rodian watched as Elizabeth tucked her shaking hands under her shirt, curling tightly on the bench.

"Here.'' Rodian said, then he pulled off his hoodie, revealing a blue t-shirt underneath.

"No. . .I can't take that.'' Elizabeth teeth chattered as she spoke. "You need to cover your ears.''

"There's no need, plus, it's raining, there's no one around.'' Rodian said, smiling.

Elizabeth pulled the cloth over her head, her body feeling slightly warm as the over sized cardigan covered her hands too. She placed her hands on Rodian outstretched hands. He pressed her hands in his, rubbing the smooth textures between his palms. His smile took her breath away and she almost gasped for air.

After a few moments spent getting cozy and warm with Rodian, Elizabeth fell asleep on his laps. Olivia was the next to go, as she rested her head on Camilla's shoulder.

Camilla stared into the streets, the traffic was less crowdy now, and the cars were moving in a more reasonable and less dangerous manner. A couple held hands in the rain in front of a shop, as the lady danced to a song playing from the speaker of a store. Camilla watched as the lady danced, laughing, with the man watching amusedly with lovestruck eyes. The woman swayed her hair, holding hands with the man, laughing happily.

Camilla could remember when she'd dreamt of things like this too, and having fun in the rain with her mate was definitely on the to-do list, but not anymore. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't have it.
