.
The loud blaring of an alarm drew Camilla out of her deep and dreamless slumber. She remembered dozing off after she had a breakfast of raisin bread, scrambled eggs and coffee. Things were truly different here. She was a prisoner, yet, she was well fed and treated nicely. She jumped up from the bed, heart pounding. What the hell was going on. She knew from the few movies she watched it's not a good thing when the alarm of a prison is set off, maybe someone escaped the prison, she thought. She hoped deeply it was one of her pack warriors.

She scrambled to  the bars of the cell and peeked down the hallway. The lights in the hallway were not the normal white ones, it was a big glowing red light. She could see the guards at the door that led to block B, seems someone did escape the cells. Great. The little hope she had sprouted was dashed when she saw figures, bound in chains in a straight line walk out of the door, with the guards beside them. The first and second gloomy figures were familiar ones, gamma Noah and Ellie, and behind them were her pack warriors. They were being moved out of the prison.

"Noah! Ellie! I'm over here!'' Camilla shouted, but they couldn't hear her due to the deafening sound of the alarm. Where were they taking them? Were they going to execute them? She hoped not. The practice had long been banned, she assured herself.

She watched them intensely, till the last one of them got out of the door. She had been hoping to catch a glimpse of Alexa, but she wasn't among them all. Where was she? What did they do to her? She worried.

After a while, normalcy was restored, the red light was replaced by the white, bright halogen lights that lined the ceiling of the hallways. She saw Jeff closing the door where the warriors were just led out.

"Jeff! Jeff!" She called out. He didn't reply, even though she was perfectly sure he heard her, which he did.

"Jeff! Please, just listen to me for a minute! Just come over here, please." She pleaded.

He looked over at her cell, musing for a moment, then he let out a sigh and walked over to the cell.

"What is it you want now, Camilla?" He asked. She had told him her name after he escorted the maid who brought her breakfast, even though Jeff had seemed unexcited.

"I just have a few questions and a favour to ask of you." Camilla said . He stared at her for a moment, then he said,

"Well, spill it out, if it's something I can tell you, then I will."

"The warriors, my pack warriors, where are they taking them?" Camilla said. She was worried, troubled actually.

"They have a meeting with alpha. They're merging them with our warriors and assigning them over the two packs." He replied. His answer was confusing.

"Merging them and assigning them over the two packs? I don't understand, Jeff. Enlighten me, please." She crossed her arms over her chest to emphasize her confusion at the moment.

"The warriors have all surrendered and sworn their allegiance to our alpha, or so I've heard. So, he's about to merge them with this pack's warriors and then randomly assign each of them to one of the two packs." Jeff explained.

"What?'' Camilla hand surged up like rocket. "The two packs? You mean, my pack?''

"Actually, it's not your pack anymore, it belongs to Alpha Lucas now." He said, firmly. Camilla's wolf stirred angrily in her, her authority and position was threatened, but Camilla scoffed. She was never Alpha heir to that pack, she was just the hated first spawn of the mad alpha no one respects. But something else caught her attention. The name of their Alpha. . . it sounded familiar.
