Chapter - 2

Rapunzel's POV

I do not want anyone to know what my hair does or take me like Moth-.... Gothel, I mean Gothel. I didn't want anyone to take me like Gothel did.

I usually have nightmares because of her. Waking up in the middle of the night, beads of perspiration on my forehead with a pale face and stayed awake for the next few hours either studying or trying to clear my thoughts.

I feel like I don't trust Merida and Hiccup yet so I won't tell them why my hair is long and what happens if it gets cut and instead of that, I gave a reason - a lame one.

"Are ye fir real lass!?" Merida asked with a hint of shock in her voice. "Yeah." I said and started to giggle a little to break the awkwardness. "Ma mum turned into a bear! I change the spell though by changing fate! I'll tell ye the during lunch!" and so with that we parted ways "see ye later!" Meri said while Hic wave happily and I waved back at him and Merida.

I walked into the school and I saw a cute brown haired boy, about my age and not to mention hot.

I shook my head a little to get him out of my mind.

While walking pass the locker room, lots of boys ran to me saying I'm hot or I'm beautiful and they start pulling and pushing me when the same boy, the one I saw when i entered this school, yeah him. He put his arms around me and I hugged him ever so tightly. "STOP IT BOYS AND GO BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE BEFORE OR I'LL BREAK YOUR BACK!" the boy I was hugging shouted but i couldn't hear him properly as he pressed my right ear against his chest and his left hand on my other ear. And when all the boys went back to their places, he accompanied me to a place where less students go to - the roof.

Once we reached there I fell to my knees and cried covering my face with my hands. So much for first day of school. "It's ok now." he cooed as he rubbed my back, trying to comfort me.

"I-I s-still dont know your n-na-" I try to talk again but choked on my tears in the end. He then shushed me gently and hugged me and I cried even more. He then cupped my cheeks "it's ok now...." with that said he gave a warm smile and put out a hand and continued "i'm Jackson Overland. But you can call me Jack." he shook my hands and hugged me once more

I feel warm with him
I feel safe with him.
I think I like him....

I thought then I shook my head softly so that Jack won't see me shake my head to let go of my thoughts.

What was I thinking!

He asked me if we can go to class now because he knows I am a freshman and he wouldn't want me to be late for the first period.

We walked down the stairs and I asked him if he knows where classroom 2/2 is. "Hey! That's my class!" Jack said, happiness evident in his voice. We then walked to class 2/2 which is 2nd floor to the left of block B.
