Had to start us off with a little throwback because I'm feeling old school these days (that new shit is for the birds, no cap). Anyway, here's book 2!

Jordan

"Okay so...in order to remain on the low, we can't follow each other on any social media. I think I'm going to get verified soon and I kinda want to keep my personal life as just that: personal." I exclaim, fiddling with my thumbs as I look up at Melo.

"We can do that. Yeah." He nods.

"Okay good." I smile, sighing in relief.

"There's another problem though." He said.

"What?" I ask.

"Your boyfriend." He pursed his lips.

I purse mine as well, but in thought. I don't know what to do about Derek right now, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

"I really hate that I have to do this to him." I frown, feeling so guilty right now.

"Things happen." He shrugged. "You just have to let him down easy."

I laugh at the way he says it.

"Get out Melo." I grin, pushing him toward the door.

He chuckles, allowing me to push him. He unlocks it, but he doesn't leave.

"What are you doing?" I ask in confusion.

"You don't hear that?" He asked, looking up at the ceiling with his brows furrowed.

I furrow my own brows, looking up at the ceiling as well.

"Sounds like somebody upstairs is getting some too." He snickers.

I blush. "Melo, get out."

He laughs, opening the door. He turns to face me again after looking down the hall.

"When can I see you again?" He asked, looking down at me.

"Well with the way COVID is acting up, I'd say a week." I shrug. "Can't really say at the moment."

"If it comes to it being something crazy, where we have to stay home and shit, I want you to stay with me." He cups my chin gently.

I gnaw on my bottom lip, nodding at him. I don't know what was going through my mind this very moment, but I just really wanted to be with him. I missed him a lot.

As if he's reading my mind, he lifts my chin and kisses me. I smile into the kiss. He leaves a couple small pecks on my lips shortly after.

"I miss these lips." He muffled.

I giggle, pulling his bottom lip between my teeth. Then we pull away completely.

"I'll text you when I get home." He said.

"Okay." I say. "Please don't text and drive."

"Of course not." He kisses my forehead. "I'll see you later."

He starts walking down the hall. I give a small smile, sighing in content after I close the door behind me. Then everything hits me at once.

I just lost my virginity to my ex-boyfriend.

"Cause I love your smile." I sing along to Shanice's I Love Your Smile. My shower speaker was blessing me this very moment.
