Chapter No 13

Umer never thought to have such a blissful life. He started enjoying her nonsensical talks which according to her were the most important issues

He still could not believe that she made him kill the lizard in her room otherwise she refused to step in that room. Whatever it was, even without his willingness to do so but their relationship is progressing. As for Ujala like a pure eastern girl she found her Mr. Right in her husband. Though, the fear of him loving another girl now rested in her heart and she started paying attention to herself. Keeping herself well dressed and cooking his favorite meals she was trying to win him over unknown to the fact that all this could slip as fast as the sand through her fingers

"I was so excited to meet you but I couldn't manage because of my condition" Umer has brought her to Saim's place because Saim was insisting from a few days to have dinner with them. Ramsha's due date was close so she usually stayed home, resting most of the time

"Neither Umer Bhai brought you here to meet me" Ramsha now complained to Umer who raised his hand in surrender

"Not my fault Bhabhi. She was busy with exams and then she went to Islamabad but now we are here"

Ujala was feeling nervous. It was the first time Umer introduced her as his wife to any of his friends. Umer could see her nervousness as she was busy doing what she loves to do and to test his patience

Rubbing her hands together and fidgeting with her fingers

"Ujala you and Bhabhi talk. We'll be back" Umer asked Saim to come along with him while Ujala as always nodded and agreed to him

"You are planning to leave her?" His positive nod raged Saim

"Have you gone mad? You said that she almost confessed her feelings for you still you are thinking to abandon her"

"I've no choice. It is difficult for me knowing the fact that Jahan loves her I can't live in this marriage" Saim felt like hitting him hard for his nonsense thinking

"And what about Ujala? She also has the right to make decisions about her life. If she chose to live with you then what would you do?" Saim was trying to feed some sense to his friend who was adamant to take notice of any of it

"It's just an infatuation that she is having. When Jahan will give her love she would not even remember that a person named Umer even existed" His voice croaked to the end

"This is wrong Umer. You are doing wrong. You should talk it to Jahan at least and Ujala also. She also has the right to know everything" Saim just stared at him helplessly. He knew he couldn't change his decision. He was Umer, if he has made up his mind to something then nothing on the earth could force him to back out from his decision

When they came back, Umer straightly went to his room. His sudden rudeness was not a new thing but everytime he behaved indifferently or curtly to her for no reason it hurt her. She was still not used to it. Like now, he himself take her to his friend's place but he suddenly turned cold towards her

"Why are you doing this to me Umer? One moment if you give me happiness the very next you'll replace it with pain"

She was removing her jewellery, almost throwing everything on the dressing table. Her eyes leaking waters continuously

"Ya Allah! You know my heart, You know his heart. Make his heart beat for me and only me. I know I said he can do a second marriage but that was not from the heart. I can't even imagine him with any other girl, sharing is out of question"
