Ujala Hashim and Maha Hashim are sisters living with their Nana (Grand father) Zaman Ali Khan and their Mamu (Brother of mother). They lost their parents in a car accident when Maha was 10 and Ujala was 6 years old. Their Mamu Hashir Ali Khan adopter them and raised as their own daughters
Hashir Ali Khan is married to Nafeesa Khan and has two children; a daughter Sibgha Hashir being the elder and son Aehmat Hashir. Aehmat is two year younger than Sibgha. Maha and Sibgha are of same age while Ujala is the youngest in the house

PS: The name Jahan Sikander is an inspiration from Nemrah Ahmed's novel 'Jannat ke Pattey'. Except for name there is no resemblence in the traits of the characters
