Ch. 3 Emptiness

*in my sisters head*

'glumshanks said that it came from pepper jack...was once the best chef in skylands but used his powers to try and incapacitate the skylanders...if he's the one who sabotaged my brother then they're all going to pay for messing with him' my sister thought to herself before finding their hiding place in the forest

*with the Doom Raiders*

"my queen forgive me for saying this but i feel sorry for that other dragon that didn't pass" ??? said "to be honest...same here...but he did give us quite the entertainment for  the most part and plus he was prepared for every possibly outcome" Golden queen said before all of them heard a roar in the distance "huh?" kaos asked "PEPPER JACK!" ashra shouted before landing on top of pepper jack "get off of me!" chef pepper jack said before ashra got off of her "why did you sabtage my brothers exam?" ashra asked "sabotage...i didn't sabotage your brothers exam...he told us what he was doing and for us not to interfere with it whatsoever and so we didn't in exchange for a good show which he provided..." chef pepper jack said "your brother did amazing...sadly he didn't pass...too bad so sad..." kaos said "how do you know about my brothers exam kaos?" ashra asked "i was looking at who to draft for my skylander league on the day of the skylander games...i was certainly not doing any nefarious acts or anything" kaos said nervously causing ashra to look at kaos skeptically "when you put it that way...i did not see you in the stands at all" ashra said before seeing that kaos' robe was tattered at the bottom "say kaos...explain why your robe is tattered at the bottom  there?" ashra asked "i-it got c--caught on a-a-a fence while coming here" kaos said "you stutter more when your lying and there are no fences around skylands the only way for you to come here is through one of the many teleporters here and the only one teleporter is located on the outhouse of your moms castle" ashra said "and there was some magical residue from the arena that the others couldn't see when we went to investigate along wih footprints leading back here that was easy to distinguish from the doom raiders footprints and all the other skylanders and mabu on these very islands...so riddle me this kaos...did you or did you not sabotage my brothers exam during the night?" ashra asked "well kaos...sucks to be you" wolfgang said "so what if i did it...it's fun to see ones morale be broken when they tried so hard just to have all that work be for nothing" kaos said smugly before my sister let out a roar and attacked kaos

*after the assault ashra went back home to show cynder who the saboteur was*

"mom i caught the saboteur" ashra said "who sabotaged your brother?" cynder asked before she brought in kaos who was beaten and tied up before i came out but that dark haze was still around me "brother!" ashra said before hugging me but cynder and kaos saw the blank expression on my face "i caught the saboteur for you..." ashra said but there was no response from me "brother?" ashra asked prior to looking at me only to see the blank expression that cynder and kaos saw on my face "i-imo?" cynder asked but i ignored her and kaos and went outside aimlessly wandering about the island "brother?" ashra asked "i only wanted to hurt his morality i wasn't expecting this but this has far exceeded my expectations" kaos said before both my mom and sister gave him a hateful stare "allow me" cynder said before grabbing kaos and sending him to cloud cracker prison "huh?" snapshot asked "cynder...what are you doing here?" "just bringing in another prisoner for the collection" cynder said before dropping kaos in the chair "ow..." kaos said "he sabotaged my sons exam during the skylander games" cynder said before she left cloud cracker prison

*At skylands*

"hey imo! congrats on passing the exam" hugo said but there was no response from me as i just walked past him as if he didn't exist "imo?...imo you alright?" hugo asked but there was no response from me "whats gotten into him?" wind-up asked "i don't know but i congratulated him on passing and he just walked past me as if i didn't exist" hugo said before roller brawl accidentally bumped into me causing me to fall over "oh my gosh i'm so sorry imo" roller brawl said prior to me getting up and me walking past her "huh?" roller brawl asked as i just walked past her ignoring what she said to me "whats gotten into him?" rollerbrawl asked "thats exactly what i asked hugo" wind-up said before cynder landed "wheres my son?" cynder asked and the three of them pointed to to the left and both cynder and ashra chased after me "imo!" cynder said "brother!" ashra said before they both got in front of me "you can retake the exam even if you failed it master eon is not that heartless" cynder said "yeah...he's an all around great guy" ashra said but i walked around them and continued walking mindlessly "hey guys...wheres imo?" stealth elf asked before cynder and ashra pointed to me in the distance "at least he's feeling better now right?" eruptor asked "not exactly eruptor..." cynder said "it was kaos who sabotaged imo's exam and he's already in cloudcracker prison...but he just has this blank expression on his face and then he just left the house" ashra said "have you guys been able to stop him?" spyro asked "no...he just walked around us and just kept walking" cynder said "there has to be a way to snap him out of it" jet-vac said "any ideas?" spyro asked "cynder...have you seen imo lately?" eon asked "oh hey master eon...my son...you just missed him...he went over that way" cynder said before eon noticed that i was near the edge of the island "imo wait!" eon said before using his beard magic to grab me moments before i fell off the edge of the island "that was a close call wasn't it imo?" eon asked before setting me down but cynder and ashra tried to snap me out of the state i was in to no avail "what are you two doing?" spyro asked "trying to snap him out of this state he's in" ashra said "what state?" eon asked before turning me around and seeing the blank expression on my face "when did this happen?" eon asked before my sister explained everything that had occurred up until this moment
