Ch. 17 Darkness Falls

"alright let's find a way to free strykore" kaos said "but in order to do that...shouldn't we help out imo?" Glumshanks asked "he's literally melting here" "oh alright...maybe some dark lightning could help" kaos said before shooting some lightning at me causing me to reform "ugh...what happened?" I asked before noticing where I was "what do you want with me kaos?" I asked "simple...I want you to release strykore from his prison...by giving him your light" kaos said "your making a mistake by doing this kaos...if he gets released he will find and destroy the core of light" I said, warning him "whatever, all I want is to be the ruler of Skylands" kaos said "I won't let you enter this room; not now, not ever" I said blocking his path "your powerless against me, a user of dark magic" kaos said "just because I haven't found my element yet doesn't mean I can't fight...and besides you haven't seen what it is I can do" I said "you dragons are all the same, all you do is just hoard gold, kidnap princesses, and breath fire your nothing special" kaos said before I felt a very familiar presence behind me "how did you find us?" Kaos asked "nobody messes with my boyfriend and gets away with it" stealth elf said "wait Elfie...I'll handle this sack of wine" I said before cracking my knuckles "hey...we can talk about this" kaos said "ain't no talking" I said before lunging at kaos but I then noticed kossandra "hey imo...let me guess kaos kidnapped you while you was on a date with your girlfriend?" Kossandra asked "yeah...how did you know?" I asked "just a hunch" kossandra said "anyway...I'll be going in my meditation chamber you know the drill kaos" kossandra said "yes mother" kaos said before his mom went inside the meditation chamber but so did stealth elf without my knowledge "alright kaos, instead of damaging your mother castle, why don't we take this fight outside?" I asked "fair...you won't beat me anyway" kaos said before the three of us went to the outhouse "ah yes...a more spacious arena for us to battle in" I said sarcastically "isn't this an unfair fight?" Glumshanks asked "yeah but that's because he doesn't stand a chance at beating me" kaos said over confident in his magic "yeah we'll see about that bub" I said "for I will defeat you...even if it costs me my life" I said before hearing what sounded like screaming from inside before I teleported into the meditation chamber and noticed that strykore was out of his prison "h-how did you get out, I sealed you with my light?" I asked in bewilderment "I had help from someone" strykore said before I noticed kossandra was on the floor unconscious along with stealth elf "what did you do to her?" I asked enraged "she gave me her light and in return I gave her a merciful death" strykore said "but you are not worth my time for I have greater things in store for this world" strykore said before turning me to stone "you won't get away with this strykore!" I shouted at him before completely turning to stone "hello...father" kaos said

*A few minutes later Stealth elf woke up*

"Imo?" Stealth elf asked but I didn't respond "imo? Where are you?" She asked but there was once again no response "he's got to be around here somewh-" was all stealth elf could say before running into me "ow..." Stealth elf said before noticing that I was turned to stone "I'm done playing pretend" stealth elf said before using her demonic abilities' to turn me back to normal "I thought you was dead?" I asked "I'm tougher than I look" stealth elf said "ain't that the truth...strykore is released from his prison, and now he plans on destroying the core of light" I said ashamed "I could have stopped him...if only I wasn't powerless!" I said hitting the ground in frustration "your not powerless, your capable of great things imo" stealth elf said "yeah right, if I was capable I would have been able to stop him when I had the chance but I got turned to stone allowing him to escape" I said before seeing kossandra "if only I had an element I would have stopped him dead in his tracks" "you don't find your element-" "the element finds you yeah I've heard it more times than you think Elfie!" I shouted at her in anger "and now Skylands greater evil is out and about doing who knows what" "imo I think you need to calm down" stealth elf said "it wasn't that serious" "yeah ok...like releasing the world's greatest threat isn't a big deal!" I shouted at her before storming out of the castle and flying back to the academy

"nice job convincing him sho'grath" stealth elf said before sho'grath came out of her body "don't worry, he'll calm down eventually...how do you think it'll take before he noticed that your not dead?" Sho'grath asked "I think he's aware...he's just not saying anything about it" stealth elf said "if he's not saying anything about it then how does he know?" Stealth elf asked "I'm going to have to get used to these demon powers you have though" stealth elf said "fair...and I know what your thinking reader "didn't imo kill stealth elf?" Well he did..." Sho'grath said "but in reality he didn't it was all just made of straw, when we first met she inhabited my body without me knowing at first but eventually I found out" stealth elf said "yeah and well let's just say it almost got bloody...but we was both able to get to know each other and we'll apparently we had a good bit in common we both have an adoration for imo, we both want to protect him and we both wants what's best for him..." Sho'grath said "but sometimes reader it feels like we're trapped behind an invisible wall that we can't see nor can we break through it" stealth elf said "but don't worry imo...we will find a way to break through that barrier and protect you...even if it costs us our lives" sho'grath said before going back inside of stealth elf
