Ch.2 The Test

*10 years later*

"Morning Cynder" Spyro said "morning Spyro" Cynder said "how are the kids?" Spyro asked "they're doing fine...but i haven't seen them at all this morning...do you know where they are?" cynder asked "well...about that...i think imo went for a morning flight while his sister went to the falling forest" Spyro said before i landed "morning mom" i said before hugging her "morning sweetie...do you know where your sister is?" Cynder asked "she's with hex and the other undead skylanders..." i said before ashra and the other undead skylanders came to us "morning roller brawl" i said "heya kiddo" roller brawl said before my sister came out and hugged me "hows my adorable brother doing this morning" Ashra said to me "whats got you in a happy mood today sis?" i asked "oh nothing...just rather excited for the administration test today" Ashra said "oh right...the administration is today" i said "well...good luck on the test you two" spyro said "we're going to need it since we don't know the full extent of our powers yet" i said before we went to the arena and got in our places "heh...this should be fun" ashra said "your telling me..lets pound these mechs to oblivion" i said smirking "always the aggressive one huh brother?" my sister asked me "of course i am...but hey you can handle yourself pretty good as well" i said before she hugged me "thanks brother" ashra said "your welcome sis...good luck" i said before Ashra went first

*after the recruits did there exams*

"after a spectacle of performances from the recruits it is now time to see who gets to become a skylander...roller brawl, pass" eon said "yes!" roller brawl said "see you tomorrow at graduation, chill, pass" "yahoo!" chill said "see you at graduation tomorrow...Ashra, pass" eon said "way to go sis!" i said congratulating her "splat, fail" eon said "i knew i didn't do good on that vehicular assault section" splat said "maybe next year splat...and you did well on the vehicle section..its the first part that you failed in...and last but not least...imo" eon said which caused me to look at him hopeful "I'm sorry imo...but you failed" eon said "w-what?" i asked surprised "how did i fail...give me another chance please?" i asked him "you had this one opportunity to be a skylander...but you failed to do so...sorry imo" eon said but those words he said to me hit me on another level

*later that evening me and ashra went back home*

"hey my little skylanders...how did you both do at the skylander games?" Cynder asked but i ignored her and went to my room and closed the door "thats odd...he'd normally hug me and tell me about his day...ashra..what happened during the games?" Cynder asked "yeah...about that...i passed, but my brother failed" Ashra said causing cynder to have a shocked expression on her face "how did he fail...he's been practicing for this very moment" cynder said "i don't know...he was physically and mentally prepared for it..." ashra said before cynder went to my room and knocked on the door "imo...you in there?" cynder asked but i didn't respond "i'm coming in" cynder said before entering my room only to find that it was devastated in more ways than one "imo...what did you do to your room?" cynder asked me but there was no response from me due to how dark my room was "brother?" ashra asked scared a bit "i think it's best if we leave him alone for the time being" cynder said "right mom..." ashra said before both her and cynder left my room; but the moment they left my room they heard a knock at the door and ashra answered it only to reveal spyro and the others "heya skylanders" spyro said "wheres your brother we want to congratulate the two of you on becoming skylanders" eruptor said "about that whole becoming a skylander thing..." ashra said "what happened?" jet-vac asked before i came out of my room but there was an eerie haze emanating from me "imo congragulations on passing the test" eruptor said but when he mentioned that i let out a guttural screech similar to that of a banshee that caused cynder, ashra and the others withing a 50 mile radius to cover their ears in pain before i went back to my room and slammed the door shut "something tells me from that screech he didn't pass" stealth elf said as the ringing in everyone's ears stopped "yeah...he's happy that i passed but when eon told him that he had failed it hit him like a mallet to the head" ashra said "wait...didn't imo train for the skylander games since he was 5?" pop fizz asked "he did...he was physically and mentally prepared for it in all topics from vehicular assault to complex scenario solving" jet-vac said "if he had prepared for this...then how did he fail?" spyro asked "he couldn't have failed...unless he was sabotaged!" ashra said "but nobody holds a grudge with imo...so who could have sabatoged him?" stealth elf asked "who else do you think wants to wipe out the skylanders?"cynder asked "kaos..." ashra said before seeing a troll outside the door "it sounds like it came from here" ??? said "glumshanks..." ashra said "heya ashra...congrats on you and your brother passing the exam" glumshanks said "imo didn't pass glumshanks" ashra said "oh...well i am deeply sorry to hear that..." glumshanks said "your fine...but was you and kaos anywhere near the arena during the test by any chance?" ashra asked "i was nowhere near the place...i had some time to myself...as for kaos i saw him near the arena drafting skylanders for his fantasy skylander league" glumshanks said before ashra and the others then went to the arena to search for clues "spread out...there has to be evidence of a sabotage around here somewhere" spyro said before they all searched for sabotage evidence

*a few hours of searching later they all came up empty*

"anything guys?" jet-vac asked "no...we didn't find anything...whoever sabotaged my brother into failing won't get away with this...not by a long shot" ashra said "guys it's getting late...we should probably get some rest and continue looking tomorrow" spyro said before yawning "he's right...we should all get some sleep" stealth elf said before they all went to their homes and called it a night

*next morning*

"morning mom..." ashra said groggily "morning honey...still tired from last nights endeavors?" cynder asked "yeah..me and the others was looking for clues of a sabotage..." ashra said before eating breakfast only to hear a knock at the door and cynder opened it to reveal glumshanks "hey cynder...is imo here by any chance?" glumshanks asked "he is...why do you need to see him?" cynder asked "i have some information that might be useful to him or his twin sister" glum shanks said before ashra got up "whats the news glumshanks?"  ashra asked "i searched the arena last night and i found this in one of the stands last night...i think it's from one of the doom raiders specifically chef pepper jack" glumshanks said before ashra left the house and went to the falling forest
