A\N Demo as the timber wolf: ah shit, here we go again..

the wolf stared at them as they got ready to leave.

they'd leave the next morning.

though, the wolf itself, was worried as much as Sven.

it's not worried because it thinks that they all might get caught.

it's because on things like this, Burt has a mind of his own.

like all humans do, they have a mind of there own. they make there own fate. but there never the ones to blame.

the Wolf, was with Burt, ever since he wondered off into the woods.

he was only 12. all lonely for the second year.

the wolf, was eating it's prey, once she finished, she turned to see Burt.

staring at her.

she saw him. scanned him. the wolf saw he looked hungry.

she eyed the eaten deer. she went up to him, sniffing.

he gasped a bit, backing up.

she cuddled Burt and brought him closer to the eaten deer.

but, it was all gone.

she'd have to find another deer.

she wouldn't let the poor guy starve to death. he's only 12!

she waited. until she saw another deer cross a road nearby.

perfect.

unlike the stupid deer, the wolf, herself was very smart.

the deer eyed the light of a car and stood there.

and then BAM

the sudden action, spooked Burt, making him gasp.

the wolf look right and left for car.

none.

she went to it, grabbing it by the ear.

she brought it the side where she came from.

she got the body of the deer, telling Burt to follow her.

he did.

as the day grew into night, Burt started a fire.

he knew how to, if he didn't he wouldn't survive out there.

wolf stared Burt. who was full of tears, hiccups and regrets.

the wolf didn't hesitate to give him the cold deer.

she grabbed a stick, made sure it was tough enough and stabbed it into a piece of the deer

she pulled it out, a piece of it was stuck on the stick.

she gave it to him.

he looked at the meat and then at the wolf.

the wolf nodded and turned away before eating.

soon, enough she heard a slight sniff

he was eating it, while crying.

the wolf blinked and went to him.

she cuddled him. he need comfort.

soon after he was done he fell asleep.

the wolf was next to him sleeping as well.

her flash back ended, leading it to now.

oh, how much he had changed.

and taking care of  him wasn't easy.

his life was ALWAYS on the line

she wondered, where would he be if he hadn't ran into her in the first place.

she stared at his face. he was...soft

but not always soft.

he was a brave person.

a person who wouldn't feel the pain under there feet while walking on rocks. in a fast flowing river.

but he had nightmares.

lots of them.

you'd hear him cry every night. morning for his lost ones.

and that's what she heard

he'd never stopped crying.

but when he met the Sven..he changed only a little bit.

they grew close.

close enough to even kiss each other under the mistletoe

the wolf felt tears run up into her.

she'd remembered that she'd snuggle Burt to make him feel better\ calm down.

she'd remembered his screams. she remembered it all

now, that he's an adult, you expect him to fear nothing. but that's not the case

she broke down.

making small wolf crying noises.

loud enough for Burt and Sven to hear.

shit. they were in the same area she is in.

it scared Burt making him stop what he's doing and comfort the wolf.

he sank to his knees. he got rid of the tears spilling out her eyes.

the wolf licked his cheek, telling her she's okay.

"just don't cry all of sudden okay?"

Burt finally spoke.

she nodded. he got up and went to Sven

"that was odd...does that happen often?" Sven asked.

Burt looked and the wolf and smiled.

"it only happens when she seen someone she hadn't seen in a long time.."
