The days passed by like usual. Earth would tend and play with the twins while Kao would go to some business-related meeting. The day before, he asked his alpha if he will be allowed to use the kitchen. Kao laughed while saying that he doesn't need to feel like a stranger and feel more like home. Earth could only smile sheepishly. His alpha still doesn't know that his grandmother forbids him to go out except when Kao was there.

"Do you know what your grandmother likes to eat?" Earth asked his alpha one evening.

Kao looked at his mate, his hand holding Alzure's milk bottle to stay still while the baby boy was drinking his milk.

"I think she would prefer sweets, even though it's not really good for her health. She also likes chiffon cakes these days, maybe because of their soft texture."

Earth was thinking for a moment, and then he smiled as if ideas came to his mind. Kao was looking at him in confusion, but then the alpha smiled softly, with his free hand, he reached out to ruffle Earth's hair.

"If you want to cook, feel free to use the kitchen, baby. You can also check the garden behind this building, and there are all sorts of herbs and vegetable plants."

The next morning, Earth decided to secretly stroll to the garden behind the mansion that Kao told him about. After making sure that Kao was still asleep beside their twins, he went out to look for something there.

He met with a few gardeners and smiled at them in greeting. When he was about halfway into the garden, he found what he was looking for. He couldn't help but smile triumphantly.

After making sure that the time was still too early for the elder to wake up, Earth went to the kitchen. He asked the chef a favour to let him use the kitchen, who was all too happy to let him use it. A few hours later, he left the kitchen with a happy heart and went back to his room.

"Where were you, baby?" Kao's hoarse voice was what greet him when he entered their room.

Earth smiled mischievously while he went to the bathroom, "It's a secret," he stuck out his tongue to tease his alpha. Then, he ran full speed towards the toilet when he saw just how devil Kao's smirk was.

Around breakfast time, the four went to the dining room together after Earth made sure that the twins looked adorable in their animal jumpsuit. El wore a pink rabbit, while Al wore a yellow duck, both were complete with its head on the hoodie. Both babies stayed on their parent's lap when they sat on the dining room table.

They ate their breakfast in silence except for a few baby words from the twins. When it was time for dessert, Earth couldn't help but become excited. The maids placed down the platter, and Kao's mother was looking at it in confusion.

"What is this?" she asked.

"Ah, I was the one who baked it early at dawn, ma'am."

She narrowed her eyes at Earth and then the cake in front of her. "What kind of cake was this? What did you put in here?" She asked that with an accusatory tone, but Earth paid it no mind.

"It is a tres leches cake with berries on top," Earth replied.

After looking around the cake, she glared at the omega, "Do you want me to die early?!"

"Grandmother, how could you accuse him like that?" Kao asked, frowning at how easy his grandmother pulled an accusatory like that.

"Kao, dear, don't you see all the creams in the cake? It could kill me with how much sugar he put here!"

She clicked her tongue and was looking at the cake in disdain.

Kao sighed, "I saw you eat cakes just yesterday, grandmother. How could you say that you can't eat any sugar right now?"
