Frenemies (Peter Parker x reader)

Part 1

You walked into Midtown and stopped at the corner when you saw who was standing a few meters ahead of you, Peter Parker. You both made eye contact and as soon as it was made,It was broken.You both walked to your lockers together and after exchanging books, you closed your locker and said

"Parker"
"Y/L/N"

The both of you shared a cold stare and rushed to The first class: Chemistry, which you both had together and raced to reach first.

The teachers were constantly irritated by the competitiveness and suggested you both to work to work together since you were the two brightest minds in the school.

Chemistry class went by really slowly and in the middle of it you found yourself looking at Peter in his Lab goggles.With two minutes remaining for the class to end, everyone started packing up and you honestly dreaded the moment when Peter would remove his goggles.

Some of the students got up and started heading towards the door but
the teacher,Mrs.Warren,stopped them and told them to return to their seats which was answered by a loud chorus of groans.
"I am giving you a Chemistry assignment to be handed out in one week and I will be assigning the partners, Topic is to collect pure hydrogen using any process and then test it in class to be true hydrogen, also make a powerpoint presentation on the Element Hydrogen. Chemistry Lab will be open during school hours only."

You noted down the topic and zoned out until you heard who you were paired with.

"Ms. Y/L/N and Mr.Parker"

The whole class erupted in 'ooooh's and you and Peter stood up simultaneously and started arguing with the teacher

"How am I supposed to beat him?"
"Why her of all 30 people in this class, I'll work with Flash just not-Why her?"
The class gave a small 'ooo' at that but immediately shut up when they saw the look Mrs.Warren was giving them.

Miss Y/L/N and Mr.Parker, I suggest you get back to your seats if you don't want detention, all the teachers say and I agree that once atleast you two should be paired up instead of competing against each other, I would love to see the result, I am expecting the best project from you two. Class dismissed."
As everyone was getting out, Peter came up to you.

"H-Hey" he said
"What do you want?"
"No need to be so rude"
"Right sorry, what do you want, Parker? "you said again.

He just rolled his eyes in response and said
"The project, You wanna go to my house today and work out how we are doing this?" He asked and since you couldn't think of anything you were doing, you said yes.
"Yeah Okay"

"Great, Meet me at the gates after school"
"Okay"

The whole school day passed in a blur and soon you found yourself going towards the the school gates to meet Peter.

"Parker" You said once you reached behind him, he turned around as if he knew you were coming but purposely stood facing the other direction.

"Y/L/N" He replied
"Lead the way" You said and he nodded and started walking, you were one step behind him and the whole walk was in silence, you started thinking about how much you cared for this boy in front of you though you never showed it and how you had developed a slight-big crush on him and the way his brown eyes sparkled in the sunlight and those amazingly beautiful cur-

"We're here"
Somehow you found yourself in front of a door in which he was now putting the key as soon as he walked inside you followed suit and a beautiful young woman came out of a room with glasses and a book in hand.

"May, this is Y/N. Y/N, this is my Aunt May"
"Nice to meet you" you said.
"Likewise. So your Y/N, Peter always tal-"
"I think that's enough out of you" Peter said glaring at May and he gestured for you to follow him into his room.
