Part 9

"Hi Petey"

His heart rate just skyrocketed: I love him so much.
"Woahh you're heart rate just skyrocketed."

It settled down a little but not all the way to normal.

"Can you hear me? " I asked then realised what a stupid question that was, he couldn't answer me. Tears pooled at the corner of my eyes.

"I hope you can."
I decided to lighten up my mood a bit.

"Harley has a crush on MJ." Then I realised that Pete told me that, I swear if he were awake he'd be saying 'I told you that'

"He also had a girlfriend back in Tennessee." This was not that big of a news but Tony would pester Harley so much if he found out and I wanted Peter to know what he missed.

I'm pretty sure if he were awake, he would run to tell Tony. "Don't tell Tony."

He'd think it would be fun to see Harley all pissed off but I couldn't do that to my brother. No matter how much I wanna go and tell Tony.

"I know you think it'll be fun and all. But I promised Harls I won't tell anyone."

A tear dropped down from my eye, It hurt how Peter was so close yet so far away.

"I miss you"

"I love you Pete."

Now I was full on sobbing. 

"Please get better soon.".

I sat with him for some time and then returned to my room.

Tony had locked himself up in his lab, no doubt rotting in guilt.

You had tried getting Tony out, But he wouldn't budge, he didn't even listen to Pepper.

One of the avengers was always  left with Peter to make sure he was alright.

The next day, Harley accompanied you in your classes with Friday, she was an awesome teacher, she didn't even give any homework.

"I'm afraid I will have to start giving you assignments Y/n." So much for thinking she was good.

"What if Vision went on a date with you?" You asked trying to bribe her.

"He is in a romantic relationship with Ms.Maximoff." 

"Oh come on, I'll talk to her."

"It would be extremely unproffessional of me to not give you assigments Y/n, Don't bribe your way out of it."

You groaned and went to the kitchen huffing and puffing, leaving a cackling Harley behind.

You took some pop tarts and went back to the classTM which was just a soundproof room, so you couldn't be disturbed.

You visited Peter everyday, talking to him, telling him that you loved him and that you missed him.

The next time you saw Tony out of the lab was 4 days later when you had gone to  the kitchen for a late night- 3 am- snack. 

You saw Tony leaning on the counter and eating pop tarts, he looked.....bad, very bad.

"Hey, Uncle Tony."

"Y/n" He jumped in shock, not expecting to meet anyone. "What are you doing up?" His voice sounded hoarse, like he was crying.

"Your bitch- ass AI gave me an Assignment."

"Language little miss."

"Whatever" You rolled your eyes."I know why you're in the lab all day Tony, you can't keep feeling guilty, yes you could've saved him, but you would've died and he's going to be okay, you can't seriously tell me that you could've survived 13 shots Tony, That's bizzar. And what happened, happened already, you can't do anything about it, stop wallowing in guilt and come out, we miss Tony Stark."

"You're right kiddo, I'm working on something, I'll come out once it's done." He hugged you "I'm sorry for shutting you all out."

"It's okay, We're Family but I think you need to apologize to Pep, that woman's been going crazy."

"Don't call my lady Crazy, even though she is, only I get to call her that."

"There he is."You parted and smiled at him.

"Please tell your stupid AI to stop giving me assignments."

"FRIDAY, double the number of assignments given to Y/n/n."

You stepped back and put a hand over your heart mocking offence.

"I'm kidding I'm kidding, FRIDAY, lower the number of assignments and make sue this girly sleeps on time."

"Yes, boss"

"Thanks Tony, Good night."

"Night Y/n"

You skipped back to your room, feeling slightly happier.

Peter woke up 3 days later, and a week later he was discharged from the Medbay.

Everything is as normal as it can be when you have a super family, spider boyfriend, AI teacher and a billionaire as a guardian and Uncle.

Normal or is it?
