For the second time, classes were canceled the next day. This didn't stop Yuto from sneaking over to my dorm.

"How's he doing?" He asked me when he walked in.

"He's ok," I replied. "Well, as ok as you can be after seeing three murders." Yuto nodded, sighing.

"Poor guy."

"I know."

I didn't hear from Kino all day. I sent him a few texts, but I got no response. Yuto and I hung out the whole day, studying for a history class we were both taking. Neither of us could really concentrate. The school was keeping all the details from everyone, even the victim's name. We were worried we knew who it was.

Yuto ended up falling asleep in Fiona's old bed as we were studying, so I just covered him with a blanket and went to sleep too. Her area had been completely cleaned out, and I hadn't gotten a new roommate, so I didn't mind Yuto staying. I didn't want him going out there so late at night with a murderer running around.

Knowing there was someone else with me made me feel safer.

Classes resumed the next day. "I'm so sorry," Kino said when he sat down in Algebra. "I was exhausted, I slept most of the day."

"It's ok," I told him. "Really."

"Hey, the guys want to meet up later and go out to eat. Shinwon's paying. Are you in?" Kino asked, changing the subject.

"Sure," I replied. "Sounds fun." Shinwon was very rich, and seemed to almost like flaunting it around.

After everyone's classes were over, we went to a steakhouse in the city. After we ordered Kino started talking.

"Look," Kino said. "We all know there are murders happening on campus. Three so far, and there will be more if the person isn't caught." Everyone glanced at each other, not sure where Kino was going with this.

"I know some details," Kino said. "About the murders." Everyone sat up straighter. Both Yuto and I's heads snapped up and we looked at Kino in shock. I remember thinking: What the hell is he doing?! He just told Jinho not to tell anyone!

"What do you mean 'details'?" Dawn asked, eyebrows narrowed.

"I MEAN I know some things about the murders that the school hasn't told us."

"And how do you know that?" Hui asked suspiciously. "Are you trying to say something?"

"I'm not the killer, if that's what you think," Kino stated. "Eden, Yuto, and Jinho can all vouch for me. I was with them last night."

"He was," Jinho confirmed.

"Well, then how do you know details?" Shinwon asked. Kino bit his lip, thinking over what he should say. My heart raced.

"Because I saw them."

I expected stunned silence but instead, there was a chorus of questions.

"WHAT?!"

"But you just said you weren't there! Were you?!"

"How did you SEE it?!"

"Did they see you?!"

Some other diners looked at us all oddly. Kino gives everyone a look to quiet down. "Everyone chill out," he hissed. "I'll explain everything, but you have to promise you won't tell. If this gets out I'm the number one suspect, got it?"

"What is going on?!" Yanan exclaimed. Hui slapped him on the arm to quiet him down.

"OK, now talk," Hui demanded.
