1. Waking Up in Vegas is inspired from Waking Up in Vegas song by Katy Perry! And yes! From the very first time I've listened to the thing just last year (September), the story immediately clicked in my mind.
2. And where did I discover the song? While watching CBS Love Island season 2, the song played and it's fun and somehow it gave me all the ideas on how the story would go. And more thing about this show!
3. Cely's name came from one of the cast. One of the girls in the Love Island season 2 named Cely and I thought she's quite a character to my own character. That Cely has her own unique characteristics and you'll love her once you watched the show. My Cely is different and has come from many background.
4. And what about Devin? I've had a hard time making up his name and it sounds cliche because there's so many Devin in the Wattpad World. I thought first about it as Devil. His character was also differed from any other billionaires from Wattpad. My characters are unique and I'm going to defend that.
5. Caro and Andrew's should only be recurring characters and not a regular one. They became part of the main casts because of how they became a huge part of Cely's journey and all.
6. What about Connagh? He's just a recurring character. He didn't show up to many of the scenes, but only a few.
7. Andrew is fil-chinese while Caro is fil-nigerian. And why Cely's a pure Filipino? Why not? I mean, all of my WTS girls now are pure blood filipinas.
8. World Trip Series became my flagship series now!
9. Many say that Devin Carrington could be related to the Carrintons from the show Dynasty, but I must say, he's not! And here's why! His last name also came from the show Love Island season 2. There was a boy cast in the show named Carrington and I thought the last name would be so sound expensive if it's used to one of my male lead and I did.
10. Basically, Waking Up in Vegas wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Love Island. I'm a huge fun so there's it. (If anyone's curious about the show, it's an American dating show. Iba pa 'yong British which is the original has six seasons na prior to writing this down.) And you won't believe where did I get Connagh's name. And that'll be known in their story fun facts.
