Annyeong guys! Welcome to Bitter Holidays in Jeju timeline! Here we'll briefly discuss how this story connects with the other stories from the series. This will just be a summary of the events that happened in the story if you're trying to read this story just to get a grasp of what happened, sure, I may put minimal stuff there, but beware because, in the first place, The Book of Travels is full of spoilers.

In late December when Raijine got a message from Chini that Jin-hyeong is back and she wanted her back to fill her previous position as his personal assistant. She didn't take time thinking about it and grab the opportunity to be back in Seoul. Upon travelling there, she met Isel on the same plane. She met Jin-hyeong back again and happy to be working for him after a few years, though they thought Jin-hyeong's comeback would be big as they are expecting, but it's not. It's like Jin-hyeong has to start from the bottom again to get people's attention. That's when Jin-hyeong decided that it's not working out anymore so he took Raijine and flew to Jeju.

In Jeju, this is where his family lives. Living in their house back in Seogwipo, it was a surprise for his parents to see Jin-hyeong back. Thought it would take him months or years to be back, but then Jin-hyeong wanted some peace and time to think about everything. Without giving any knowledge to Chini to where they are, but with one post that goes viral, Chini traced their location, but Raijine might've slipped up even before that. Being back in the limelight, opportunities come striking back at him. He wasn't expecting it, but with what's happening, it was a blessing for him.

When Jin-hyeong brings the spotlight back at him as a solo artist, he became busy wherein a lot of events coming in side to side, it was the busiest days, weeks, month for his team. Raijine couldn't be more grateful that Jin-hyeong is getting all the things he deserves and actually be there and support him all the way. It's what she wanted. Obviously, she has a crush on him, but she respects him as her boss so she thought she wouldn't cross that line. After all, he's out of her reach so why would she waste time hoping that she would have him?

Jin-hyeong's concert happened. It was a big success for the team and everyone who poured their hardships into doing it. Debuting his single as a solo artist was fulfilling for Jin-hyeong, but then he thought it wouldn't be more wonderful if it's not because of one certain person who shared fruitful words of wisdom with him and changes his mindset and that's Raijine. He made it, he got it back because of how she showered her support to him. With conflicts between his ex-girlfriend, he backed her off. When Jin-hyeong has a concert in the Philippines, he went to the Gilbert household which in the end asks for permission to take their daughter's hand.
