chapter 11: The truth behind the Sharingan

I woke up to extreme pain. What happened? "Hey Kurama did it work this time?"
"By the look on your students faces no." I looked up and saw the three with worried faces.
"Kakashi sensei you're finally awake!" Naruto exclaimed.
"...What happened after the hunter-nin took Zabuza?" I asked.
"You started to walk and then it looked like you were in pain. After that you started talking like you didn't know what was going on and thinking this is all a dream or that you died." Sasuke explained.
"So the reason to it isn't because I kill someone while using the Jikan Sharingan...Thank you Sasuke for telling me this..." What's the reason this is happening? Only once was I able to use it without any consequences after it.
"Kakashi sensei how can you be so calm about it?" Sakura asked.
"Because this isn't the first time, this is the condition his team was talking about. Am I right sensei?" Sasuke asked.
"If anyone would have got it would have been you...yes you're exactly correct."
"Kakashi sensei can you explain what and why that happens," Naruto asked.
"No..."
"At least tell us something." Sasuke said.
"The Jikan Sharingan has one consequence; I get lost in time..." I was paused when a thought came into my head. "May you leave for a second?" The three of them left the room. "Kurama...we're doing it again..."
"What!" He shouted.
"I know what causes it."
"It's not my problem if you go insane again."
"Jikan Sharingan!" Time stopped and I started to walk outside, making sure no one was around and so no one would see me.

"Undo!" Everything was perfectly fine. "Yep just as expected..."
"Kit...You know you have to wait until your eye starts to hurt."
"It's not going to...if my theory is correct." I said. We waited two minutes, then five, nothing.
"How did you know your eye wouldn't hurt?" I sat down at a tree and sighed. I looked up at the sky and said,
"Because I'm alone right now..."
"What is that supposed to mean!" He shouted confused by my comment.
"When I asked the three to leave the room, I was alone in that room, when I came here, I was alone...That's my condition. If someone sees me using it, or should I say if I don't kill them by the time I undo the Mangekyou Sharingan, my eye hurts and I'm lost in time."
"About that, you should go back to the house," Kurama noted.
"Right," I stood up and started walking back to the house. "The Mangekyou Sharingan is no power...it's a curse and a reminder." I whispered quietly.

I entered the house and everyone looked shocked at me. "Kakashi sensei? How are you here!?"
"I used the Mangekyou Sharingan to test something...I forgot to tell you three."
"But how?" Naruto asked. Both Sasuke and Naruto hit his head.
"You're that dumb? He used his Jikan Sharingan to stop time." Sasuke explained. I looked at the three and just couldn't help but think...how fake my life is right now.
"I have some bad news... Zabuza isn't dead." They all looked shocked.
"How? Didn't that Shinobi took him away?" Sakura asked.
"Exactly why he's not dead, you see, a Hunter-nin finishes their job on the spot but that one teleported away with him." I explained. "That's why you three will train, starting from tomorrow."
