Chapter 24: An unexpected visit

"Oh I see...You thought I wouldn't see through your disguise. Did you Obito?" I said. He transformed back into himself.
"How did you know?" He asked.
"Well, while walking to the office I noticed your face on the Hokage wall. Then I saw Minato walking out in the streets. And you didn't think that Minato would forget me now did you? Both Kushina and Naruto talk about me to him. I had been writing him some letters too. And the last reason to how I found out it was you because I put something on you at our last encounter. Luckily you didn't realise it. For that I must thank you. You really made me realise that you aren't the same as the other one. I'm sorry Obito for that fight. I wasn't thinking straight. It's just there's someone out there that is really similar to you, I needed to know if you two were the same." I explained. Obito walked up to me and hugged me.
"I'm glad you're back Kakashi. I missed you a lot. I'm sorry, I just...I didn't think that was you for a second, you changed so much." He said I hugged him back.
"I'm glad to be back...Do you have a spare headband for me?" I asked laughing nervously. "Oh and Congratulation on becoming Hokage!"
"Thanks." He walked to his desk and picked up a headband. "Are you up to go on missions?"
"Yeah I'm up for it. What team is going to be joining me?" I asked.
"Naruto, Sakura and Sai," He said. I flipped a coin into the air and caught it.
"Perfect, I need to go somewhere first, by the way how's the alliance with the Sand going on?"
"It's okay, why do you ask?"
"No reason, I was just wondering. I'll head off; I'll be heading to find Kushina." I said and turned to the door.
"She won't be at home," I turned my head to him.
"I know, I'll find her, don't worry." I said.

It didn't take much time to find her. My falcon found her instantly. I walked around the village to where Kushina was; she was shopping with Rin so it was the perfect time to show myself to them. "Hey it's been a while!" I shouted waving at them.
"Kakashi!" The two shouted and ran to me to give me a hug.
"Thank god you're safe." Rin said.
"I wrote letters to you, why would you think I would be dead?"
"You know why." She said. The two backed up and I could see tears in their eyes.
"It wasn't long either, it was only 6 months."
"By the way you didn't mention anything on Pain, were you able to kill him?" Kushina asked.
"No, so there's one small problem..."
"What is it?" They asked.
"...I forgot to tell Gaara I made it back safely..." I said scratching the back of my neck.
"THAT'S IT?!" They shouted.
"Whoa, it's a big deal, he helped me the past six months and he asked me to tell him when I make it back safely." I said.
"Is everything else alright?" Rin asked. I stayed quiet.
"So? Are you going to talk?" Kushina asked.
"Oh, no everything's fine. I've been thinking of someone that's all." I said.
"Ooo, is it a girl?" Rin asked.
"Kakashi? Is that you?" I turn around and saw Minato.
"Hey Minato sensei!" I said.
"Stop calling me that, I'm not your sensei now, am I?"
"Sorry, I'm just used to calling you sensei." I said.
"I'm glad you're back. What's the talk about a girl?" He asked.
"It's not like that, she's just a friend." I said waving my hands from me being nervous.
"Sure~" They all said.
"Look Kakashi, I know when I see a man in love." Minato said.
"So who is it~" The two ladies said.
"You don't know her," I said.
"We have a lot to catch up on." Minato said.

We entered the Uzumaki house. "I'll make lunch." Kushina said, leaving into the kitchen.
"Let's sit down in the living room and talk about what was going on while you were gone." Minato said.
"Well I want to know how Obito became the Hokage," I said.
"And I want to know who this girl is." Rin said.
"Kit, stop it...You're killing me right now." Kurama said.
"I'm sorry but they're making me think about her!" I said in my head.
"By the way, she's in the village coming here..." Kurama said.
"WHAT?!" I shouted.
"Hm? Are you okay?" Rin asked.
"Oh no, I'm fine I just um...I'll be back." I said leaving the house.

"I knew I'd find you her." I look in front of me and see Yoru in front of me.
"Did you have to come at a time like this?"
"Yeah, I had to. I know what you're thinking, Rin, Kushina and Minato will start asking questions, am I right?" She asked punching my arm in a friendly way.
"As always you're right," I said and sighed.
"Yes! Another point for me!" She exclaimed. I laughed at her.
"You act like a kid sometimes."
"I've never had a childhood, of course I do!" She said crossing her arms.
"I know, I know, let's go inside, I 'll introduce you to them." I said.
"You owe me a life you know."
"I already did,"
"I mean sure you did but I never had a childhood, I wasn't even born like normal people." She said.
