Chapter 26: The end

"It's Gaara...He helped me a lot didn't he, and yet I haven't paid what I owe him." I explained.
"...Kakashi, I understand but...Does that mean you'll be..."
"No, I'll be a traveller, and I can always use my disguise."

3rd POV
"If you say so..." Yoru stated. Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door. Kakashi went and opened it to see Sakura.
"Kakashi sensei, there's a villain at the training grounds; he's killed 14 anbu already. The 4th and 5th went there to fight him, and so did Naruto!"
"I'm going there...Yoru..."
"I get it. Try not to die here. Would suck if you did." She said calmly.
"See you again."
"Don't forget....if you die I die." She stated.

Kakashi appeared to the training ground. There he saw Naruto very injured, Obito and Minato were out of breath. When he saw the villain, he was shocked. "What are you doing here Obito?" He asked.
"Huh? What do you mean?" The Hokage Obito asked. Kakashi walked up to the evil Obito passing by the other Obito and Minato.
"Kakashi, wait he's too strong!" Minato shouted. Kakashi grabbed Obito by the collar.
"Why the hell are you here, Obito?!" He shouted.
"What?!" Minato and Obito exclaimed.
"Heh, Looks like you don't change, always on the rescue, you fool. You fell into my trap." Suddenly Kakashi started to warp away.
"Kakashi!" They shouted. The evil Obito warped too.

Everything was dark but not too dark. "Do you remember this place?" Obito asked.
"Yeah I do...So you just want to fight?"
"No, I want to fight to the death." Kakashi paused for a second; he couldn't feel Kurama's presence. "Right your little friend can't help you here. It's just you and me." Obito suddenly was behind Kakashi and he stabbed him with his hand into his heart. "You feel the pain don't you. That's what Rin felt when you killed her." Kakashi coughed out blood when Obito pulled his hand out. He took off his mask and coughed out more and more blood. "Oh I'm not done with you." Kakashi tried to stand up but when he did, Obito stabbed a sword in his stomach. Then he warped both of them. "That's what you get for killing her." Kakashi fell onto the ground, backwards.
"KAKASHI!" The others shouted.
"You'll pay!" Naruto shouted.
"Oh no don't worry, I'm done here, my job was done, I can die now." Obito said.
"He called you Obito why?" Obito 2.0 said (The Obito that's the Hokage).
"Because I'm the real Obito from the past, isn't that right Naruto?" Naruto's eyes widened. "I know Kakashi told you and some other people." Suddenly all their eyes widened, Obito looked at what they were shocked at. He turned around to see Kakashi, he was fully recovered and around him was the nine tails cloak.
"Hey, who told you, you are done? You'll pay for what you did to the Kit, and did I mention, I'm nothing like Kakashi. I'll kill you like you killed everyone and my best friend Kakashi!" Kurama shouted. He went right at Obito with extreme speed. He hit him with a punch and then a kick and kept doing it over and over. "No one tries to kill the kit and goes away with it." He said. He activated the chidori. "So you're mad that he killed your love, Rin, right? Then why didn't you stop it. You're a monster too you know. How can you know her pain?" Kurama said. He smirked and stabbed the chidori into his heart. "You killed the kit already, so die yourself and feel how it is to lose everything and everyone, again and again. The kit suffered enough already. He lost his father at a young age; then everyone thought you were killed by that rock; Rin jumped into his chidori, killing herself by Kakashi's hand; having lost Minato and Kushina. Then you came and killed everyone, everyone he cared for and everyone he knew. Can you ever feel the same pain as he did?" Kurama asked.
"What would you know nine tails?" Obito painfully asked.
"More than you, I lost someone I cared for, then you came and killed Naruto...And now you kill Kakashi...my only friend. You don't deserve to live." He said and slashed Obito's throat, killing him. "Sorry Kit, just wake up, I don't know if I could live if you weren't here." Suddenly the nine tails cloak disappeared.
"Hey, thanks a lot Kurama...You're my savour." He said.
"Kakashi sensei you're back!" Naruto exclaimed and ran over to Kakashi.
"Hey Naruto, sorry for scaring you all..." He said. He looked over to Minato who had a worried look.
"I'm glad, you're okay." He said.

A month later

Everything was normal; no one forgot Kakashi and Kakashi didn't die either. Everything that was left of the real time was him and Kurama. A week ago, Kakashi and Yoru got married.

And this is the end.

A/N

Sure, the end isn't so good but it's something. But what if events were different. What if this was all reset and a new alternate universe where Kakashi makes different decisions, where the story line is different, and a different villain was after Kakashi? Well there's a book I'm going to publish: Kakashi back in time 2.0. I was proud of this book in the beginning but then the ending lacked as you see. This book was made for fun and the other one will be too. I've always loved to write and through this tough time I'm going through, with my mental health worsening, it's the perfect thing to do to forget about it, or try to. Ever since I was in my first 6th grade (I moved countries and had to go to 6th grade again), I had a teacher that'll always love my writing. So in the future I want to write my own book and publish it. This is just stepping stones. I'm always happy when I see people voting on my book, it makes me feel like I can do something.
