We had been sailing for quite awhile until we came across a small island. The crew of the Black Pearl had Elizabeth walk to the end of the plank with Jack waiting next in line. Will was being held back by some of the crew, he managed to spit his gag out of his mouth

"Barbossa, you lying bastard! You swore she'd go free!" Will hurled towards Hector but the crew managed to grab him first

"Don't dare impugn me honour, boy! I agreed she'd go free, but it was you who failed to specify when nor where!" Barbossa gloated with a tone of joy in his voice. I held in a giggle as Hector said this to Will, that kid really did need to be taken down a peg. They put the gag back in his mouth. Just before they made Elizabeth jump Hector kindly said

"Though it does seem a shame to lose something so fine, don't it lads?" A glimpse of hope flashed across Elizabeth as I raised one of my eyebrows inquisitively.

"So I'll be having that dress back before you go as the rightful owner has returned." Elizabeth looked appalled at what Hector was insinuating. I knew that that was my burgundy dress she happened to be wearing. Elizabeth seethed with anger as she hastily pulled off the dress and threw it at Barbossa

"It goes with your black heart." She said as she was left in just her silk undergarments. Hector then passed the dress to me with a nod. I smiled appreciatively. As much as I have grown to care for Elizabeth it's a kill or be killed life at sea. Elizabeth slowly started to walk towards the end of the plank, nerves apparent in every step she took. She suddenly stopped and turned around to face us, her eyes locked onto Wills. She was just about to say something when one of the crew mates decided she was taking to long so he stomped on the other side of the plank making her lose balance and fall into the watery depth below. Will looked on in horror.

The crew laughed. Jack started to join in until he was lifted onto the plank, next to take the plunge. He turned to Barbossa

"I really rather hoped we were past all this." He said pleadingly. Hector stepped next to him on the plank, threw an arm round his shoulders and pointed out to the island

"Jack, Jack... Did ya not notice? That be the same little island that we made you Governor of on our last little trip." Hector pointed out

"I did notice" Jack said. He had fear in his eyes. Jack is very hard to read but I've known him all my life and I know when he is scarred.

"Perhaps you'll be able to conjure up another miraculous escape. But I doubt it." Hector finished. Jack has always been quick to bargain, often making a promise that he never keeps. Most people would have run out of ideas by now but Jack had one last hope. He turned to look at me

"Surely you have something to say about this, my dear Holly?" He asked trying to pull the family card, that is low even for him. How dare he

"Maybe you should of thought about that before you left me on Tortuga!" Venom dripped from my words, the audacity that man has. Jack was fighting a losing battle there. Hector pushed him towards the end of the plank with the tip of his sword. Jack hesitated being too proud to beg

"Last time you left me a pistol, with one shot." He reluctantly said

"By the powers, you're right. Where be Jack's pistol?" Hector said as I passed him Jack's pistol, he nodded a thanks to me.

"Seeing as there's two of us, a gentleman would give us a pair of pistols." Jack asked, pushing his luck once again. He was really barking up the wrong tree there, Hector isn't the most gentlemanly man by far.

"It'll be one pistol, as before, and you can be the gentleman, an' shoot the lady, and starve to death yourself!" Barbossa tossed the pistol over Jacks head and threw it into the sea. Jacks eyes widened as he immediately dived in after it.
