Engagement Party.
Alexandria Delgado showed up in a red one shoulder dress with gold heels. It was the niche of her best friend Rebecca Barnes' engagement party.
"Alex! You made it!" Becca said as she came over to her as she hugged her.
"I know I'm late. I'm sorry.." she said
"You are not late. Come on you remember my parents Winnie and James you met them at college graduation." Becca said
"Of course it's so good to see you all again." She said as she shook James' hand and Winnie hugged her.
"It's good to see you Alex. How have you been out in LA?" Winnie said
Across the room was Bucky standing with Steve who had been dating his younger sister for the last two years.
"Who is that? The girl with my sister." He said
"Oh that's her old college room mate Alex. She's going to be the maid of honor." Steve said
"She is gorgeous. I know who she is now I've seen pictures that Becca has posted. Hubba Hubba curves for days.." he said
"And here comes Marissa Buck." Steve said
"Oh for the love of all things holy why is she here?" Bucky said as she made a beeline for him.
"Take it up with your sister." Steve said as he walked away.
"Hey Bucky..I'm so glad you are here I was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me." Marissa said
"Marissa it's over please stop.." he said as he walked away.
He joined his brothers and their wives. Rebecca rolled her eyes when she seen that he joined the group.
"Alex this is my brother James. James this Alexandria Delgado." She said
"Nice to meet you Alexandria. I'm the best man in case my sister forgot to tell you." He said
"She didn't I know who you are. You are Steven's best friend and her play boy of a brother." Alex said
"Oh little brother." Bryson said as he sipped his scotch.
"Becca quit telling people that." He said
"What? It's true.." she said as they walked away.
"I hate having a little sister." He said
"We sometimes hate having a little brother who use to throw us under the bus now you know what it feels like." Oliver said
"Screw you both." Bucky said as he walked away.
Marissa all night kept trying to get Bucky to say yes to her dinner invitation. He finally saw Alex was alone he walked over to her.
"Alexandria?" He said
"Oh hi.." she said as she walked away with her martini.
"Do you wanna dance?" He said as he followed her.
"No thanks. It seems you already have dance partner." She said as she pointed to Marissa.
"She's my ex girlfriend." He said as he followed her to her table.
Alex rolled her eyes. "Anyways. About that dance?" He said
"No..I really don't want to piss some people off. And your sister has given me strict instructions to stay away." She said
By the end of the night Bucky seen her walking towards her rental car.
"Alex can I atleast have your number? And give you time to think about having dinner with me next time you are in town?" He said
"My answer is no to both. I have to get some sleep I have to catch a red eye back to LA. It was nice to finally meet you in person. I've seen your pictures." She said as she got in her car.
As she drove off Bucky whispered "my god what a woman.."
"Hi Bucky." Marissa said
"For the last time Marissa I don't want to get back together with you." He said
"But you want her. She doesn't want you but I do I still love you and miss you." Marissa said
"Rissa Im sorry." He said as he walked to his car.
