*3rd person POV*

Remus had been in a terrible mood since the morning. He couldn't find his Arithmancy book and was late to his first class, he had to skip breakfast because he woke up late (and now he was ravenous), his lunch was ruined because he had to stay back for a group project in Potions and he had a plethora of other reasons why his day sucked. Not only all of that, but his 'time of the month' was approaching and the impending doom of it always made his anxiety pool in the pit of his stomach.

Somehow, his friends hadn't noticed how much he seemed to be frowning that Thursday, and no one asked him why he seemed so pissed. He sighed exasperatedly as he put his books away, getting ready to exit the last class of the day: Charms. He said goodbye to the professor, hauling his heavy book bag over his shoulder.

He stepped out into the cacophony that was the halls of Hogwarts, always full of chattering students; his headache worsened as he heard the many conversations he didn't have the least of interest in:

"Hey, did you hear Narcissa Black promised herself to Lucius Malfoy?" He heard a brunette girl telling her best friend.

"I had a potions exam today and I definitely failed, how did you do?" He overheard two hufflepuffs talking in the corner.

"Did you hear that Frank Longbottom and Alice Fortescue got caught snogging in a broom cupboard?" Snickered a slytherin as they told the story.

"That Regulus kid is kind of cute." ( i'm starting to simp over him sue me )

"I have detention with McGonagall again! All I did was pass notes!" complained a redhead hufflepuff as she walked by.

"Did you hear that McKinnon kid started going out with that other Gryffindor, uh, what's her name? I think it was Dorcas Meadowes," a hufflepuff was telling their ravenclaw friend as they walked.

"Honestly Margo, I told him I needed to study for this potions exam because I really can't fail and he gets mad!" a blonde slytherin complained, ignoring the longing stare a dirty blonde hufflepuff gave them, as he told their friend about their latest fight with their boyfriend.

"He's just clingy dude, you can't blame him," the girl who Remus assumed was Margo replied back.

"I miss Parker," whined the hufflepuff boy with dirty blonde hair and glasses that had been staring at the slytherin. His friend walking next to him sighed.

"Raven, they told you they needed time apart to study! It's not their fault you're a six year old who requires constant attention," his friend who Remus recognized as someone named Sam said jokingly but nonetheless sighed exasperatedly.

He really couldn't care less over who cheated on who, or who snogged who in the transfiguration classroom; all he wanted to do was get to the common room and get some very well deserved cuddle time with Sirius.

Unbeknownst to their friends, him and Sirius had gotten together during fourth year. It was late one night in the common room and the two of them were alone, James and Peter having gone to sleep an hour before. The two were trying to study, but the tension ended up being too much and it gave Sirius the bravery he needed to press his lips to Remus'.

They had been together since and for two wonderful years, their friends thought nothing of them suddenly growing closer. They had always been a little oblivious, after all. Sometimes, though, they had gotten relatively lucky. The pair could be having a moment, or be sitting together questionably close and then their friends would walk in, and they'd have to pretend.

Cuddling was something else. It was like their thing. One of them could be tired, sad, angry or overall upset and their mood would immediately improve just by cuddling. It was like magic. Maybe it was just the two fools being in love, though.

His daydreaming was stopped as he almost bumped into The Fat Lady's portrait. He groaned out the password, ignoring the questioning look from the woman in the painting and stepped into the red and gold common room. Remus' mood brightened a little as he received smiles from his friends, Sirius' being the warmest one.

He decided putting his books away could wait as his boyfriend's loving gaze drew him in. He said nothing as he put his book bag down and ignored his friends' stares, climbing into the gryffindor's lap and wrapping his arms around his waist. Sirius, who had dealt with an upset Remus many times before, immediately got the gist and started carding his finger's through the werewolf's dirty blonde hair.

"What's wrong?" he whispered in Remus' ear and the tingling sensation Remus felt ran throughout his whole body and lingered, leaving a warm feeling of comfort.

"Today sucked," Remus muttered and Sirius held in a laugh.

"It's alright love, not every day can be sunshine and rainbows. Mind telling me why today sucked?" Sirius replied, zealous to see his boyfriend smile again and almost forgetting they had basically just outed themselves as they were in the middle of the common room.

"Lots of things. Missed breakfast. Was late to class. Barely had time for lunch," Remus kept explaining, and he already felt kind of better. He was sleepy and being in such a comfortable position with Sirius was only helping his drowsiness as he muttered his complaints to his adorable boyfriend.

He was half asleep when he heard a voice that didn't belong to Sirius. "Uh, earth to Remus and Sirius! You there?" Remus' eyes shot open and he sat up, realizing that everyone had gone quiet. He looked at Sirius, panic dancing around his face.

"Yes?" Remus said, finally looking at James.

"What are you doing mate?" He asked curiously.

". . .cuddling my boyfriend?" Sirius replied.

James' eyes widened. "Boyfriend?"

Remus nodded. "Yeah, we're together," he confirmed and Lily just laughed.

"How is that news to you, Potter? Honestly, when I became friends with Remus I thought you two were going out," she stated, which made Remus' cheeks redden slightly.

"Were we that obvious?" Sirius laughed.

"Dude, I walked in on you lads making out once in our dorm and you told me I was sleepwalking and that this was all an illusion," Peter now spoke up.

"And here I was, convinced we'd fooled you lot," Remus joined in.

"Are you kidding? God, I felt like I was interrupting something every time we were at the Great Hall and you two were staring at each other," Regulus put in as he stepped into the Gryffindor common room.

"Reggie! What are you even doing here?" Sirius asked, sounding surprised.

"It seems like I'm your boyfriend's favorite Black," he laughed out and Sirius looked at Remus with a look of fake betrayal.

He fake gasped as Remus rolled his eyes. "Lupin, what's the meaning of this?! Trying to get all of the Blacks, huh? Who's next, Bella?" He fake mocked and everyone laughed.

"God, no."

"Good. 'Cause you're mine and only mine. Now kiss me you fool," Sirius teased.

"Or what, you'll sue me with your huge piles of money? Throw a rich boy tantrum?" Remus teased back.

"Lupin,"

"Yes?"

"Shut up," was the last thing Sirius said before pulling him into a passionate kiss. He felt himself and Sirius smile into the kiss when they both heard a small 'that's gay' coming from James.

Remus flipped him off.
