A WEEK LATER —
"thank you mattheo .." y/n said.
"don't thank me .. but i'm leaving so goodbye" he informed. he grabbed her face and kissed her slowly, but this time she didn't resist. she kissed back. after a minute of kissing, he pulled away.
"don't go please" she said with tears in her eyes.
"i don't have a choice. this school is going to be the death of me" he said after a moment.
"can i go with you? me and kai aren't together anymore" she asked.
"why?" he raised an eyebrow. he was trying to hide the smile, and he did really well.
"we decided we would be better off as friends. he's moving with his aunt" she explained. a tear rolled down her cheek. she quickly looked away and wiped her face.
"you put me through hell and it's crazy how i'd still choose you over any one in this fucking world" he said completely truthfully.
"can i make it up to you? please" she asked, leaning on her toes and looking up at him. he didn't say anything, just a small smile appeared.
"c'mon" she said and grabbed his hand. she ran out the astronomy tower door, dragging him along.
"y/n" he tried to protest. she kept pulling his arm, smiling. when she was unlocking her door, she looked up and saw legacy give her a wink. mattheo wasn't paying attention though.
