Messy In IJN Musashi (ft. Darling in the Franxx's Zero Two)

(The sequel of "Noises Within IJN Yamato")

(Setting: Flight deck of IJN Shinano)

The sun is setting at the harbor of Seoul, giving the sky a reddish orange hue. Docked within the harbor is IJN Shinano, an aircraft carrier which is part of the Japanese Fleet within the Western Superfleet. (Actually it is a Yamato-class battleship when it was initially built, like Yamato and Musashi, but it was converted into an aircraft carrier due to increasing loss of carriers by Japan during World War II). And sitting on its flight deck are Sana and Dahyun, which happened to be their anniversary today.

On this day is their 6th anniversary as lovers, and they wanted some place to celebrate it privately. They chose Shinano since it was docked a bit far from the Scout Regiment Naval Base and because they wanted a good view of the city from the sea.

Sana and Dahyun are sitting near the conning tower of Shinano, with earphones on their ears listening to their favorite song. Sana's head is on Dahyun's left shoulder, and she's humming to the tune of her favorite artist's music. She let out a deep sigh after the song ended.

"Hayyyy..." Sana sighed at Dahyun while looking at the sun, which is already very low on the horizon. "Who'd think we've reached six years already... Did time really flew that fast Dahyunie?"

Dahyun was also looking at the setting sun, but later her eyes were set upon her beautiful girlfriend's face. "It sure did," she mumbled.

Later, Dahyun removed her earpiece and stood up from where she was sitting. "Uhm, S-Sana-chan," Dahyun was stuttering, "s-since this is our a-anniversary, and because I wanted this day to be special, I-I have something for you."

Sana was puzzled about what Dahyun said to her. She didn't expect Dahyun to say that, since for her regardless whether she gets gifts from her doesn't matter.

Dahyun pulled from her pocket a small black box and then sat down again beside her.

Sana's eyes were widened when she caught sight of the black box. What could this mean?

Dahyun opened the box, revealing a ring studded with diamonds. Quite the expensive.

Sana couldn't believe what she saw inside. "Dahyunie, that's---"

"Yes, a wedding ring," Dahyun replied while rubbing her head. "It's actually my mom's wedding ring, she told me to give this to you."

And Dahyun asked the momentous question. "Sana Minatozaki, my love from the heavens above for six years and counting until time stops, will you marry---"

Dahyun hasn't fully asked the question when Sana already gave her answer.

"Yes! Yes! Dahyunie, yes! I will marry you!" And her eyes are already welling with tears of joy, her smile very wide with her white teeth showing, and she immediately reached out her hand to her.

Dahyun shyly wore the ring on Sana's ring finger, hoping that it will fit perfectly on her. "I'm not sure if this ring fits you since I don't know your finger size," she said while nervously slipping the ring on her finger. And thankfully it did fit.

"It fits perfectly!" Sana exclaimed while looking at her hand with the diamond-studded ring.

"Happy anniversary Sana-chan," Dahyun greeted warmly, and in return she received a kiss from Sana. She briefly broke from the kiss and gave her a hug while speaking, "Happy anniversary too Dahyunie... I love you very much..."
