When I saw Snivellus standing there I growled. He treated Harry poorly so poorly that I wanted to beat his face to pulp. It was only because of Lily that I stayed put. Cautiously Padfoot walked up to the gate and opened it. Snivellus slipped inside like a snake. Padfoot and Snivellus had a staredown each one threatening to harm one other. Lily cleared her throat and the both of them looked at her. "Lily," Snivellus said nodding to my wife, "James." Hatred laced his voice. "Snape," I reply slowly. Lily elbows me in the chest giving me the message that I should've been more polite and called him Severus. At least I didn't call him Snivellus. He greeted everyone except for the ones still in the house. When Snivellus greeted Padfoot, he completely ignored him. I snickered, earning another elbow from Lily. Suddenly Ron came running out of the house. "Look Mione I'm sor- WHAT THE HELL!" He jumps at the sight of Snivellus. Molly along with Arthur and Fred and George come running. "Ronald Weasley! I have told you to not use that langu-" Mrs Weasley gasps. "Severus?" Arthur doesn't speak and just gives Snivellus a nod. Fred and George just stand there. There was a very awkward and uncomfortable silence for 5 minutes, before Lily invited Snivellus inside. I was against that idea but I didn't want to get hit again so I stayed silent.

I let Severus into the house. We didn't talk to each other. Just silence. The kids left along with Arthur and Molly to give us time to talk amongst ourselves. None of us said a word. It was Sirius who broke the silence and whispered "Awkward silence...." which made James crack up. I rolled my eyes. The boys were being idiots. Suddenly Severus spoke up and said "Can I talk to you for a bit Lily?" James snarled, holding me back. "Just a second" I reply to Sev and I turn to James. "Babe I don't want you talking with Snivellus." James said. "I know baby, but he needs to talk to me about something important," I reply. "Promise you won't leave me for him" James said staring directly into my eyes. "I promise baby" I whisper, kissing him on the cheek. To our right we heard Sirius cooing. I groaned and turned around and said "Are you serious?" I then realised what I said but before I could take anything back Sirius smirked and answered "Yes I am Sirius!" I slapped myself on the forehead. I walked towards Severus and he led me to a corner of a room. I crossed my arms over my chest and said "speak."

Ginny and I left Ron and Hermione in the kitchen to sort out their troubles. We went out to the garden and lay down, Ginny's head lying on my arm. "How are you feeling?" Ginny asked. "I'm fine" I answer, "I've recovered." "Well you still need to be careful Harry." I kissed her on the head. "Do you think Mum, Dad and Sirius will figure things out with Snape?" I question. "Probably." I hold Ginny tight in my arms. "I'll miss you when you leave for Hogwarts." I say. "I will too, baby" Ginny replies. The sun was setting. The both of us watched as the sky changed colours and as the sun set. Then it was dark. I lit the end of my wand and we watched the starry night sky above us.
