Lily's P.O.V

Harry lent us his 7th year memories. We practically had to beg him for them because he wouldn't give it to us. I suspected something terrible was going to happen. None of the kids were with us. They were all at school or work. Only me, James, Sirius, Lupin, Molly, Arthur and Minerva were going to see his memories. Slowly Minerva slipped Harry's memories into the pensieve and we all went in to watch.

Harry was bleeding. Clutching his right hand in his left and swearing under his breath, he shouldered open his bedroom door.

"Language" I muttered quietly. James gave me a look that read 'Are you serious.' (A/N LOL this just reminds me of Captain America) Harry kept rummaging through his trunk, trying to clean it. As I watched him do that I realised that Harry was very unorganised. Things he had from his first year were still there!

It was a two-inch-long fragment of the enchanted mirror that his dead godfather, Sirius, had given him. Harry laid it aside and felt cautiously around the trunk for the rest, but nothing more remained of his godfather's last gift except powdered glass, which clung to the deepest layer of debris like glittering grit.

My heart ached as I remembered how much Harry had been through. Sirius was dead and so was Dumbledore. I read over Harry's shoulder about the article he was reading about Albus.

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE REMEMBERED

By Elphias Doge

I met Albus Dumbledore at the age of eleven, on our first day at Hogwarts. Our mutual attraction was undoubtedly due to the fact that we both felt ourselves to be outsiders...

I read on. James and Sirius just stood there being bored as they weren't bothered enough to read it. Harry kept reading and when he was at the end he furiously flipped to Skeeter's Article about Albus. I could tell Harry was grieving and he was also probably going to be very mad when he sees what Skeeter's written.

"Oh yes," says Skeeter, nodding briskly, "I devote an entire chapter to the whole Potter-Dumbledore relationship. It's been called unhealthy, even sinister. Again, your readers will have to buy my book for the whole story, but there is no question that Dumbledore took an unnatural interest in Potter from the word go."

James snarled and I was actually surprised he read that. "SHE BETTER KEEP HER MOUTH SHUT OR I'M GOING TO!" Sirius made an angry gesture at the paper. The memories went on and as the Dursley's appeared I felt guilt. Guilt for leaving Harry to the Dursleys.

"You took your time!" roared Vernon Dursley when Harry appeared at the top of the stairs, "Get down here. I want a word!"

That sentence snapped something in James and he launched forward going to grab him but Sirius held him back. "I'm going to pay those Dursley's a visit," James growled.

"Yes?" asked Harry. "Sit down!" said Uncle Vernon. Harry raised his eyebrows. "Please!" added Uncle Vernon, wincing slightly as though the word was sharp in his throat.

"At least they learnt some manners." I muttered. I watched as the conversation went on. The Dursleys were idiots for not believing Harry about You-Know-Who. I still couldn't say his name as it brought memories back from the night I died. Hestia and Dedalus arrived to take the Dursleys away and I was glad. Harry looked relieved too. When Dudley had a slight change of heart I felt happy. They left. Mad-Eye and the rest of them arrived. I watched as Harry refused to give away any of his hair as he wanted no one to get hurt. Harry ended up sitting with Hagrid.
