Chapter twenty six: The Angry

Evin sat up and looked around seeing he wasn't on the roof anymore and looked around narrowing his eye brows before seeing her, he got up tossing his jacket to the side that was laying on him ''What the fuck was that?'' Connor and Emma looked over while trying to entertain Alex and calm him down from everything that was happening ''What?'' Taylor quesitoned over looking a map ''Knocking me out, I could've helped them.'' Evin stated motioning back to the door ''By getting yourself killed?'' Taylor asked getting as angry as Evin ''I'm immune, I can't turn.'' Evin yelled and turned ''You're not immune from death.'' Evin stopped hearing her words ''So sit the fuck down, and listen.'' Evin turned and looked at her ''That horde is not the same one from before.'' Evin gave her a confused look ''There is no way a horde of that size traveled all the way over here, especially with the car's and buildings blocking their way, we had a straight shot over here which is why I'm confused.'' Taylor stated staring at him trying to calm the tension coming from him.

Evin walked back to the table and Connor turned looking to Emma who's eye's were wide, she turned to Alex and was about to continue reading the book to him they heard whistling outside, Evin paused and turned looking to the door, Taylor looked over confused as Connor stood up and walked over looking over to Evin ''What-'' Evin shushed him and went to the front door looking through the window moving the curtian seeing the horde outside wasn't as bad as before telling him that they somehow got away from the crowded area, he watched as a couple of arrows hit the walkers that were outside and he looked around seeing people wearing what looked like large black rain ponchos, there were a couple of people with bows but some had sledge hammers and seemed bigger the those with bows, he stepped away ''Cult.'' he whispered and turned to them, Emma grabbed her bag putting the book in her bag before taking Alex's hand and went over, Taylor folded the map up again while Evin ran back to them and followed them to the back door's.

They went into the alley way and heading down before getting to a street, Taylor took her machete out and killed a couple of the walkers while Emma and Connor went across the street with Alex, Evin started moving across hearing a whislte and turned as an arrow hit his right thigh, ''Damn it!'' he looked down before looking up seeing them aim at him again, Taylor ran over grabbing his arm and pulled him back as they shot at them again, he tucked him down as they did and got him back in the alley, Evin leaned against the wall while Taylor brought her shotgun around ''Break off the tip of the arrow before pulling it out.'' she stated and aimed at the entrance to the alley, Evin looked at her ''What?'' Taylor looked at him before giving him the shotgun ''Watch my back.'' she stated and reached around grabbing the tip of the arrow before snapping it off, she held his leg pulling the arrow out fast ''Fuck.'' he muttered and looked over raising the shotgun shooting the archer who came around the corner, Taylor took her bag off looking through before getting a shirt out and stabbed it with her knife before ripping the bottom half off, she put the shirt back in her back and cut it again turning it into a strip instead of a large loop.

Evin looked down at her as she wrapped it around tightly and tiged a tight knot, she looked around before moving across the alley grabbing a screw driver out of a small red tool box next to some scaffolding and went back to him moving the screw driver under the wrap against his leg and looked at him ''This is gonna hurt.'' she warned before spinning the screw driver, Evin moved his hands behind him holding the wall with the shotgun still in his hands, he looked over bitting his lip and brought the shotgun up again shooting another archer and saw one of the bigger guy's ''Taylor.'' she looked before moving as he swung the sledge hammer, she looked around before rolling away and pushed off the ground, Evin moved out of the way falling to the ground and rolled before turning over and aimed the shotgun, he grabbed it though, ripping it from Evin's hands tossing it to the side, Taylor looked around before grabbing her own sledge hammer and ran back yelling as she brought it up swinging it from the side hitting him in the side, Evin rolled out of the way as the sledge hammer he was holding came down, Taylor lifted it hitting him in the jaw with it, then raised it above her head and brought it back down smashing his skull, she dropped it to her side leaning on it a bit as his body fell over, she looked at the sledge hammer he had which looked like an oversized hammer.

She pushed the one she had over and picked his up going back to Evin, she crouched down and finished what she was doing and looked across the street seeing the other archers along with two sledge hammer guy's go into where Emma, Connor, and Alex went, she looked to him before grabbing his hand helping him to his feet before putting his arm over her shoulders ''Wait, we need to go to them.'' Taylor looked over before pulling him back down the alley ''No.'' Evin pulled away but Taylor picked him up before grabbing the shotgun and gave it to him only to pick up the sledge hammer and started walking away, Evin looked over keeping his angry to himself.
